Jameson is a very good Irish Whiskey. In fact its flavor is almost definitive. It screams "Irish Whiskey." haha. In my opinion it's too good (and expensive) for mixing into cocktails. I go for Kentucky bourbons if I want a cocktail like that. This is more for drinking straight and appreciating the flavor on its own for what it is.

As an avid whiskey drinker I am pretty particular in my taste profiles. I am not a fan of Irish whiskey, or Jameson in general. The taste is much too light and does not agree with my strong desire for rich bourbons. I would use this in cocktails or shots only.
