Best Gin I ever drank

5

Makes a martini smooth and no aftertaste.

Staten Island NY

For those out there that can stomach it

Bombay Sapphire Gin is about as gin as it gets. With a typical strong start and a juniper and oddly pine finish this liquor is just as advertised. Not for everyone, as gin is more of an acquired taste. This one is great for a classic gin and tonic or even more extensive cocktails.

Bombay Ginand Tonic, it's like sailing on the Med!

5

As a fan of the Gin and Tonic I used to think the gin didn't really matter. That was until I tried Bomby. Better than Gordons, better than Beefeater or Tanquery, Bombay Saphire is really wonderful. But don't tell my boyfriend from Plymouth! It's smooth and crisp and makes for a vacation on your toungue. Spalsh of ice and lime and you are sailing on to Greece. Thier ad campagins might not be as clever as some other Gin companies, but they must spend that money on making the best gin instead. Yumm. Going to Bev mo might save you a bit  but really for the price you can't get a better gin.

Best gin out yhrtr

I must say that Bombay Sapphire is the best gin I have ever tried. It is smooth with a great flavor - no bitterness. It is excellent in gin and tonics; I have yet to try it in other gin drinks and don't care for gin straight up or on ice, so I cannot comment on that.

One of the best Gin Martinis you'll ever have!

5

For a tasty, flavorful and VERY smooth Gin, Bombay Sapphire 94 is extremely hard to beat. Full of juniper berries, this Gin starts smooth, intensifies gently and finishes even smoother than it began. Try it in a very dirty Martini (three olives, of course!) and you'll be hooked!

Complex and Sophisticated

Bombay Sapphire Distilled London Dry Gin is a premium gin from England that was first introduced in 1987. It is an interesting gin that pours to a clear color (only the bottle is sapphire in color, not the product itself) and releases a fragrant bouquet that combines herbs, perfume, and rubbing alcohol. It seems a little thinner in consistency than other liquors and while it does produce legs on the side of a glass, they fall apart quickly. The taste of Bombay Sapphire is quite strong with the taste of various herbs and alcohol. Underlying flavors include those of black licorice, a hint of lemon, and different spices. This dry gin leaves a long, slowly fading aftertaste that is woody and interesting. It achieves its intriguing taste from the combination of ten different ingredients: lemon peel, almond, licorice, orris root, cassia, cubeb, grains of paradise, angelica, coriander, and, of course, juniper berries. The gin is triple- distilled and the alcohol vapors are passed through bundled quantities of these herbs and spices which are placed in a copper basket. This is what gives this gin its unusual taste. I'm not a big fan of gin but I can certainly tell the difference between Bombay Sapphire and the traditional style of gin. Gin is expected to have an herbal and spice taste but the combination of ingredients used in Bombay Sapphire isn't like anything I have tried before.  Bombay Sapphire is a little stronger than other distilled spirits with 47 percent alcohol by volume (94 proof). A single ounce serving contains 79 calories, 1 mg of sodium, and no fat, protein, or carbohydrates. The alcohol level and carbs are a little high, but there is no mistaking the quality of this product. I don't normally go for the taste of gin but when I do, Bombay Sapphire is one of the brands I enjoy best- particularly in a drink that includes any type of citrus flavor. It costs more than other gin but most will agree that the unusual, complex flavor is worth the added cost.

Bombay Sapphire Gin tastes great!

We finally tried Bombay Sapphire Gin for the first time this year and we really liked it. Bombay Gins have way better flavor than the less expensive brands and the Bombay Sapphire Gin is even better! I like Bombay Sapphire Gin with a little tonic water and lots of lime on top... It is delicious! I love all the subtle flavors that come from the aromatics used to make Bombay Sapphire Gin. My husband even agrees that Bombay Sapphire Gin is better than the less expensive ones he is always trying to talk me into buying. This is just one of those times when it is worth the extra money to get the better product. If you shop around you can usually get a good sale price and then it is much more affordable. this is so good I could even drink it plain, on the rocks, but I love my lime and why not add the extra nutrition I alwasy say. I would recommend Bombay Sapphire Gin to anyone who appreciates a good quality gin.

Best straight - or mixed!

This is a fantastic gin to go for whether you like your drinks straight up, mixed with tonic, or served however you like. The flavor is unique, and adds to the richness of any glass it finds itself within. Pricier than standard gin, but that is because this is anything but standard.
