Patron Silver Tequila

Summary

Patron Silver is called young or "joven" tequila. A similarity may be made to a young or nouvelle wine. It is known for its lite, fresh, crystal clear look and an elegant smoothness not found in other silver tequilas. Many prefer this smooth soft and lite tequila over an aged and slightly oaky flavor. Those that know the difference may find Patrn Silver the finest silver tequila available. It is perfect for blending, with high quality mixer or may easily be sipped as is recommended with Patrn Anejo and Patrn Reposado. Patrn tequilas are exceptional for a reason. Firstly they are produced from 100% Weaber Tequilana Blue Agave which when grown in this region of Jalisco is known to produce excellent high quality "honey" or sugar levels. The second and primary reason for the excellence of Patrn tequilas can be equated to time and care. Like great wines the creation of a great tequila cannot be rushed. The basic reason that Patrn tequilas are priced as they are is due to using only the highe

Patron Silver Tequila Wins the Gold

I consider myself a well-versed tequila drinker because I love it and I've tried many, many brands. Tequila can be taken in shots, sipped, in margaritas, hidden in sweet drinks amongst other liquors such as a long island iced tea, or even used in recipe for various foods like sweet breads or marinades. I must say that . Patron is the MASTER of tequilas. This Silver version of theirs is the undisputed smoothest of them all. No lime, no fruit flavorings, no salt, and no worm needed. It speaks for itself. It is the all time favorite at our house, a home well versed in the agave process of making tequila. Tequila is meant to be a refined, enjoyable, shared, safe, and decadent delight to the taste buds and central nervous system. Well, let me tell you, this one delivers. Patron is unarguably the most satisfying, delightful, exquisite, meant-to-be-shared smoothness you will ever experience. I don't always drink tequila but when I do I drink Patron Silver...the MASTER of all tequila experiences. Enjoy some today...you will thank me for it!

No smoother shot than icy Patron Silver!

Patron Silver is the best for margaritas - you start with a "clean canvas" and get to taste the drink itself and not JUST the tequila.  For those of you who like shots - put the Patron in the freezer, and ENJOY!  Should you need something to chase it with (Patron is extremely smooth but some people need to chase - no matter how smooth ;-)  - try it with a slice of ORANGE instead of lime!  It's the bomb!  ...and if you wanted to start with salt, go with cinnamon-sugar (or just sugar) - that's right...ditch the salt and lime for sugar and an orange...sooooo much better!

Patron is smooth as silk!

I will admit I rarely get to have a drink any more since I had my daughter, but when I get the chance to have a good stiff drink I love Patron. It is a smooth tequilla that tastes good! I use to drink hard liqours and drink crazy so when a friend introduced me to Patron I fell in love! It doesnt have the burn that alot of other tequillas have and its perfect for shots. A lemon, some salt, and you are good to go. Although I admit that the price is kind of high for my tastes, I believe that it is well worth it. And since I dont get to drink it very much anymore every few months paying the required amount is well worth it. The only con about this product is I havent found anything that I like to mix it with. I love mixed drinks and this is kind of hard to mix with things. I would use it as a margarita mixer but I am not very big on drinking margaritas. But over all I would definately give this a thumbs up!!

Patron Tequila is best freezing cold

5

I have had many tequilas in my life.  Some were good and others were just plain awful.  But this one takes the cake.  Patron has to be served very cold or chilled for a certain number of hours to be just right.  It will have a slight vinegar taste but, will go down the hatch very smoothly and a give you a very small hint of a head shake.  Do not have cheese pizza after it or you will be in trouble right away.  Have greasy food before hand not after.  Well that is all  for now.  Bye

Simply the best, Patron Silver is the hole in one of tequilas. A clear crisp "green tequila" with no oak barrel aftertaste that leaves the scent of jack daniels, scotch or wine as an aged Anejo or Reposado tequila does. Pure Blue Agave and worth the fifty bucks, which should keep you from getting hooked on the stuff.  Best served out of the freezer in double shots with salt and a pink grapefruit slice chaser to prevent hangovers. Del Monte jarred grapefruit will do in the off-season. It will make your clothes fall off. Senoras, por favor?
