After getting a really bad haircut, I decided I needed to look into buying a hair, skin, and nails vitamin. At the time GNC was having a sale so I figured I wouldn't lose too much money by trying these out. I started with chin length hair and took two of the pills once a day. First off, the smell is kind of gross, and the taste isn't great either. However, for the first couple of weeks or so, I took them daily and kept hoping that my hair would grow faster. The first thing I noticed was how quickly my nails grew. I don't like super long nails, so I probably had to cut them twice a week. My nails were once pretty brittle and broke easily, but soon my nails became strong and shiny. My hair was next- within the first 4 weeks my hair grew about 3/4 inch to 1 inch. At the time, I was doing my best to protect it by not flat ironing, and by doing conditioning treatments once a week, so that could possibly be another reason why it grew. I didn't see any major changes in my skin, but it's always been relatively clear and problem free, so I can't really make any comments on that. I'd recommend waiting for a sale or using a coupon, as these vitamins seem sort of expensive to me.

I started taking GNC Women's Hair, Skin and Nails Formula after researching online for vitamins or supplements to take for my hair to grow in healthier. I have always trusted the GNC brand so I went with these ones even those their price is a little higher than some other brands. I had damaged hair that I was trying to repair. After trimming my hair and buying some products to help control damage, I bought these and began taking them immediately. These are not miracle pills and you will have to wait probably weeks to notice a difference. I first noticed the difference in my skin. I always get a breakout or two and after about 3 weeka on these, my skin was pretty much clear. My nails also seemed to be growing in quicker and a lot stronger. My hair took longer to notice the difference and whether these were helping or not. After about two months I noticed that my hair was shinier and smoother and as thick as before I started dying and high lighting my hair. I couldn't really tell if it grew any faster in that time though but thats not really why I started taking them. I would recommend these to those who wants healthier hair skin and nails. Its worth trying out.

I have been using this product for the last six months and I have seen a tremendous difference in my hair, skin and nails. I was a little hesitant about buying it because it was a little costly for me , but it is well worth every penny they charge. My skin is clear and healthy, my hair is growing and shiny and my nails have never looked better. All discolorations in my nails have cleared and they are growing so fast. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is trying to repair their hair, nails or skin or if they are just looking for a product that will help maintain a healthy looking style. I found at my local GNC store and the sales associate recommended it to me, they were very helpful. I am curious to find out what age is considered safe to begin taking them, my daughter sees how healthy my skin, nails and hair look and have asked to try it out. I have not had any negative side effects to this product yet so I might let her try it out.

I am 43 and have been feeling worn down. I started taking these supplements and they do help. Dont expect miracles the first few days or weeks. Give them a month to get into your system and will be able to tell a difference.
