Above average case from Antec

This case has four fans! It's build quality is as expected with Antec, and I love how its lighted up with blue leds on top and front. Only sad thing is theres no window on the side, but that's not really imporant at all. The air flow is great, with fans in front sucking on the air and the rear ones blowing outwards, the flow is good in the computer. I don't really like the fact that there is a fan up top because dust can fall in when the computer is not on, but oh wells. Plenty of space in the case itself, easily fits the motherboard compared to some other cases I've used. The front side also has a airfilter that traps dust and can be machine washed, A great addition, just wish that they had bothered to have that for the side and top holes too. Plenty of space for additional raid harddrives and comes with a dock for 2.5" SDD on the bottom of the case. Small qualm with the Power button being hard to find in the dark, no lights up top to let you see it when the plug is in but the CPU is not on.

The 300 illusion is basically the same as the Antec 300 but it's got some nice twists involved. The twists are mainly form factor. There is a 140mm fan (very large) on the top of the 300 illusion and it's got blue leds mounted to them which gives it a nice glow. The two front 120mm fans are also blue lit which is nice. All the fans on the 300 illusion are 3 speeds. There is low speed, medium speed, and high speed. Depending on what you need you can set the fans up accordingly. You will get better cooler with max settings obviously but you will sacrifice on silence and noise. The Antec 300 illusion weighs almost 16 lbs, which makes it neither light or heavy. Just like the Antec 300, theres a perforated front grill in the front which makes cleaning the dust that gets into your case really simple. This is a mid tower so the 300 illusion isn't enormous like a Corsair obsidian. I really like the size of the 300 illusion and I'm very glad that Antec built it. I'm hopeful for a second edition.

I got my Antec 300 illusion in a bundled deal from newegg. It came with some DDR3 memory. This is my first Antec case and I am very happy with their quality. The outside looks really nice and isn't overly done. When you turn off the lights or dim the lights down a bit you allow the blue lights to really shine and it gives a nice feel to your room to have some illumination. My harddrives and my graphics card fit in the Antec 300 illusion without any bumping or without me having to file anything down. The power supply fit in with no issues as well. This thing seems to have a lot of ventilation which is good since graphics cards can really heat up the insides of a case if you have the card running hard. Two hours of playing Modern Warfare for example can get my case heated up pretty well since my card runs hot. But with the fans on medium setting, the Antec 300 illusion doesn't seem to have much problems with the heat from my graphics card.

This is the first case I ever bought for a build of my own, and I must say I am VERY, VERY IMPRESSED. I didn't know how junky my old case was until I bought this one. This one is flat out awesome. It uses great steel and is built very strongly. **THE GOOD** - **Well-made** - a great design, and great use of steel. The case looks remarkable and holds up strong. - **Many slots **- has plenty of space for hard drives and expansion drives. Can easily hold 3 optical drives and has room for 6 hard drives. - **Well-ventilated** - comes with two HUGE, nice fans which plug into the motherboard. One is on top of the case, the other is on the back. These are great for moving air around your case and keeping the components cool. - **2 sided case **- the case can slide off from both sides, which makes it easy to work on. **THE BAD** - **Size** - is kind of large. Is much bigger than my other case. But, that is ok. It will hold all of your components quite well. **OVERALL** You will not be disappointed with this case. BUY IT! Highly recommended. One other note: the PSU sits on the bottom of the case, which may be a pro or con depending on your design. For me, it was a pro.

Antec always makes good cases. I absolutely love their mini cases used for small mini motherboards like the Intel atom for very ultra portable systems. They also make great cases for regular and micro sized motherboards. The Antec 300 illusion is one of those cases. On the front panel it's uncluttered and doesn't have a lot of buttons or oprts, which I personally dig about this case. It's very smooth and clean on the outside. The illusion has blue led fans which give it a nice touch. Black exterior case with blue leds look real nice during LAN parties. there is a fan port in several parts of the case and the Antec 300 Illusion has plenty of good air circulation. AIr circulation in a game is a serious priority since the ambient temperature, along with the heated components inside, will turn up the heat inside the case. Fortunately due to the Antec's great ventilation and fan placement the air gets in and out quickly in the ANtec 300 case. This case is awesome.

The Antec three hundred illusion black steel ATX Mid Tower computer case is an awesome case that will meet all your needs, granted that you have a micro ATX motherboard. A full length tower is needed for a full length motherboard, as this is really designed for a micro ATX board. It's an extremely professional, very elegeant case. There is no unnecessary features on the exterior of the case. Now to be frank, I do not like the blue LED fans and if you also do not like these fans, you can simply swap them out with fans that have no lighting, or better yet, just simply get the Antec 300 micro atx case. The 300 Illusion is different really only due to the different fans. They are pretty identical other than that. So that case comes with 3 optical drive slots, a dust filter in the front, and has plenty of ventilation inside, with one fan on the top, on in the rear, and one on the side. The two things that i dislike about this antec case is the aforementioned fan lighting, and the fact that the inside of the antec 300 case is not painted and is bare metal (grey).
