Who woulda thought ... we bought a piece of art when we bought this Whirlpool Gold refrigerator! It looks so amazing in our kitchen!! It doesn't even matter that it's our 1st stainless steel appliance ... the ugly white stove and dishwasher just fade into the background. ;) I didn't know how I would like the side-by-side (we previously had the standard top/bottom style) - but I really love it. It's so much more organized having everything on it's appropriate shelf ... gone are the days of having everything shoved into the old style freezer and having to move everything around to find anything. I haven't run into anything that doesn't fit; I absolutely love it. I sometimes wonder if I would have preferred to have another shelf in the fridge side, vs. the 2nd drawer - but it does work for us. I love how deep the door shelves are, it's amazing how much stuff we have stored in them. Also, I could never go back to a fridge that didn't have the icemaker and water dispenser on it - it's so convenient and even seems to taste so much better than right out of the tap. The only downside is that it can be a challenge to keep the stainless steel clean, especially with young ones in the house; but it's definitely worth it! I highly recommend this refrigerator!!

My husband and I are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and decided on swapping out our old appliances for stainless steel ones. We are both starting to regret that decision. Don't get me wrong, that has nothing to do with the functionality of this side by side and that's why I still gave it 5 stars! We are just struggling with finding a good cleaning agent to get the smudges off of the stainless steel without having to worry about it discoloring. Our previous fridge was just a regular one with the freezer on top, so for some reason to us the freezer on the side by side seems to hold less. Now granted, everything isn't piled on top of each other, so it makes it a lot easier to find items that may have otherwise been forgotten about. We also have a deep freeze chest, so space really isn't really a concern. But we just don't get what the little bins on the freezer door are for exactly? We may never know, but that's okay. lol. The fridge side is amazing at keeping items fresher longer. Keeping fruits and veggies in the bins really seems to prolong their shelf life. We have had no problems with it so far and would highly recommend it to anyone that was in the market for a new one.

The Whirlpool Gold is the best refridgerator I have ever owned.  I believe I have owned over 10 fridges in my lifetime (not counting childhood and those days of renting as a college student!)  Every fridge has its temprament, but the Whirlpool Gold "acts" like it wants to please us.  It keeps everything cold, and quietly beeps if someone leaves the door ajar too long.  It never over-freezes and the ice-maker/water purifier works great!  I love the glass shelves, and  I will never get those wire-rack type shelves again.  I love how the company was innovative in space management.  I thought that no one would be able to fit my month to month buying food routine in a fridge, but I actually have room left over!

We replaced a "lemon" GE Profile Refrigerator with this Whirlpool Refrigerator that has given us a worry free service for 2 years. With all the "bells and whistles" - we find it to be very dependable. The refrigerator is quiet running and and has a digital read out on the door giving you info as to the status of its operation. Filler status, temperature, with "fast ice" and "fast cool" are features of this model.

My husband and I just bought this fridge because our old one finally broke.  He is going to school and wanted to purchase a refrigerator that would last so he wouldn't have to deal with repairs while he is trying to get his Masters degree.  We are a busy family with three kids so we needed a functional refrigerator.  We purchased this one because of the roomy bonus to be able to store more perishable foods. We loved the quality of this fridge where some of the others we looked at seemed flimsy.  We also like the water filter and water/ ice dispenser; a luxury we haven't had before. Also with little ones I have appreciated the lock setting on the LED display to hold off the troops. I really like how easily adjustable the shelves and trays are. I love that it is energy efficient and helps a lot on our electrical bills.  I would recommend this to everyone especially if you are in need of a new high quality fridge!
