This machine is ok for the price.  I actually got mine on closeout at Walmart.  (should have been my first clue)   This machine does seem to really work, I did lose weight and I could see that I was toning up when I used it everyday.  However, on the down side, it is one of the noisiest ellipticals I have ever used in my life.  It squeaks the entire time you are using it.  At first I thought I was doing something wrong or had it uneven, that was not the case.  But the price was excellent and the machine does work.  But another thing is the cost of replacement pieces.  My nephew broke one of the pieces on the machine, the price of the small replacement piece was more than the machine even if I had paid full price for it.  For the quality of the piece I thought the price for just a replacement part was a tad on the ridiculous side.  If this is all you can afford and don't mind the noise, this is a ok little machine.
