I use this grill for all of our family of 5 meals. Meats, kebobs, foil packets, vegetables, it's perfect. I use a grill scraper after every use easily and it looks great. We had a family gathering of 20 people and that was the only time I needed to cook all of my meat in shifts. A cover is needed, especially in colder climates to keep this grill from rusting. Very reliable and I expect it to last for years ahead which makes the price point economical.

Finally spent the money for a Weber. No regrets. With every penny. The searing station works very well. The side burner actually works. This grill reaches very high temperatures. The construction is solid. I've cooked a wide variety of meats and vegetables with excellent results every time. If you're moving up from a cheap grill, it can take a couple of tries to get accustomed to a more expensive grill and it's performance. Performance The burners are consistent and high powered. The searing station is excellent. Versatility I have cooked a variety of foods. Excellent results each time. Ease of Use Very easy to use. The electric starter actually works. Ease of Cleaning Easy to clean. Tray changes out very easily. Durability The construction is solid. Stainless steel is heavy duty. The grates are very heavy. The burners seem to be durable. Design Very nice looking grill. The cover fits very well. Several accessories go perfectly with the grill - the lighted handle, the smoker box, etc.

We have had this grill for more than 6 years and it is still working fine. It was even blown over in a terrible wind and rain storm and it still works fine. The grilling surface is large and the shelf is handy so that you can move items that may be done before other items away from the flame and keep it warm or cook with indirect heat. The lid has an internal temperature gauge so you don't have to lift it unnecessarily. I expect it to last for many more years to come. We use it year round. Performance It starts up easily, with ignition switch and dial with no problems. I have never had to replace any parts on this grill. Versatility If you don't want to heat the entire surface you can control areas of heat. Ease of Use Easy to use and the instructions are on the grill. They are very clear and still readable after years of use. Ease of Cleaning Easy to clean. You just take the bars out and replace them after cleaning. Durability As I said the grill made it through a 60 mile/hr wind storm and is still working. Design Simple and functional design.

In our family we love to bbq. It doesn't matter the season, sun,rain or snow we will still bbq. We have tried out a few different propane grills over the years, but nothing compares to the Weber Genesis. You have so much more room than other grills to cook your food and the burner on the side is great to make some thing small as a side. I would recommend this grill to anyone looking to buy a new or upgrade and old bbq, you won't be disappointed.

I purchased this grill over 8 years ago and it still works wonderfully. It's totally non-stick, so you can grill anything and not have to worry about heavy scraping after it to clean. It ignites on the first push of the button everytime. The only problem I have with it is the handles on the cabinet underneath are NOT stainless steal so they rust.
