Love My Stacker!

5

I'm always rushed for time when it comes to cooking. If it takes longer than an hour to cook it's not my type of receipe. I had heard about the TupperWave Stack Cooker and decided to buy one online. I compare this product to a microwaveable crockpot, it's simple and makes life easier. I am able to cook a number of dishes at one time, a main dish then 2 sides in each container. I have tried a number of recipes and some of my families favorites are shrimp scampi and taco salad. I didn't know something like this was possible, I mean this product has been out for years and it took me years to find out about it. The containers are stackable and I am able to cook just about everything I make in under 30 minutes. My children love eating the meals I cook from this cooker so I'm a happy mom because I save time and I am able to cook a healthy meal for them. Cleaning the cooker out is easy, and this is a product that will last a long time. Over the years I have saved many hours using it to make dinner. I find myself using it for weeks at a time then putting it away but I break it out about once a week now. Performance Very easy to cook a meal and the meals taste great! Ease of Cleaning Just like with any container you cook in it depends on what you have cooked on how easy it cleans up.

I love my stacker!!! I own 3 of them. They are the best pieces for microwave cooking and they really last a long time. They have a warranty with them for chipping, cracking, breaking, peeling. I have one of the originals from 1990. I use it almost every day. They are great for quick meals and it also makes a great cake in the microwave. I could not live without it. Performance I have never had a problem with anything I have ever made burning or cooking uneven. It is the best microwave piece out there for cooking meals. Ease of Cleaning It is pretty easy to clean in the dish washer or by hand with hot soapy water. The only complaint I have is the colander can be hard to clean with the cracks but if you put in hot water right after use it isn't to bad to clean. Ease of Use It very easy to use and it comes with a cookbook and instructions which are very easy to follow. Durability I have had mine for years! One of mine is an original from 1990. It has been used almost every day since I bought it. Design It fits most of the microwaves except the real small ones.

Tupperware came out with the Tupperwave Stack Cooker around 1990 and its still as useful today as it was 20 years ago.  When I only have myself to cook for I turn to this for an all-in-one meal that is healthy & delicious.  Would be good to someone living away from home, especially in a dorm where there is only a microwave to cook with.  Someone who is living on their own with a busy schedule would also find this a great piece of kitchen cookware. It comes with the following pieces:  3/4 qt Casserole/Cover - use to place the 1 3/4 Casserole or 3 qt Casserole or as a cover while cooking 1 3/4 qt Casserole - used for cooking & desserts 3 qt Casserole - good for soups & stews 2 Seals - store leftovers, if & when there are any! Baking Cone - used with 3 qt Casserole to make bundt cakes Colander - for steaming vegetables or cooking meats allowing the juices to flavor items below Cookbook.- with lots of great recipes, 1990 Cookbook will add to this, more recipes can be found online Want to cook a healthy quick meal in less that 30 minutes, this is the product for you.  You can cook anything from appetizers to desserts in no time at all.  I have been experimenting with mine by using old Microwave cookbooks,  There's so much you can do with it. With this stackable cooker you can make a complete meal at the same time.  The cookbook nicely lays out how to use each piece and assemble your meal so that it is ready when you are. The original Stack Cooker Recipe Book was put together by Tupperware Home Parties and Caroly Dodson, A microwave Expert.  She demonstrated one of the first in-home microwave ovens and then went on to develop microwave cooking techniques. Meal suggestions from the 1990 Cookbook: 1.  Celebration Supper (a child's home run or promotion) Cranberry-Spiced Pears, Italian-Seasoned Chicken, and Buttered Pasta 2.  Three Easy Layers - S'More Pudding, Ham & Pasta, Italian-Style Zucchini 3.  Fiesta Feast - Chili Wax Beans, Burrito Casserole, Squash-Corn Medley 4.  Colorful Cuisine - Orange Beets, Creole Pepper Steak, Steamed Rice 5.  Desserts - Dutch Apple Cake, Coconut-Peach Upside-Down Cake, Hot Fudge Pudding Cake, Chocolate Lover's Cheesecake 2007 Cookbook (Goldenberry Color Stack Cooker on back) doesn't give meal suggestions but tells which part of the meal to place in which Casserole. Desserts - Cinnamon Brownies, White Chocolate Coconut Cake, Pineapple Orange Coconut Cake, German Chocolate Coconut-Pecan Cake, Strawberry Shortcake 2009 Cookbook doesn't give meal suggestions but tells which part of the meal to place in which Casserole. Desserts - Light Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Pound Cake Cookbooks will show you how to determine how you microwave cooks and how to place food in the Casseroles for even cooking.
