Tums is something that I turn to when I have an upset stomach due to eating food that I know I shouldn't have. But unfortunately the relief is usually only mild at best. I have eaten Tums after Tums and find that if it does help, and it does to some extent, it doesn't help to the extent that other meds do. However, I must admit that I feel quite comfortable popping a Tums or two to lessen my discomfort, whereas I am somewhat wary with what I consider to be serious medicine- Prilosec, Omeprazole, etc. Taking Tums is akin to taking candy- except that it isn't as sweet, and that it helps instead of harms. And I don't have to worry about cavities. However, if you think it will save you after a full meal of Indian, Thai or Mexican food, you are sadly mistaken. By the way, if you are taking Tums regularly you should probably talk to your doctor to make sure that you don't have a case of Helicobacter Pylori in your stomach- because Tums will definitely not help in that situation.

I always had tummy troubles and gastric issues. When I was pregnant this was worse. I have bloated stomach every day. I used to have colic attacks infrequently. When they happen it hurts very very bad and I needed to lie down until it's over. When I was pregnant, I am not sure what I can eat for this issue, my gynecologist recommended that I take TUMS. I see that it's only calcium supplement and was not sure if it works. However, I took two at my first attack of bloatedness and it worked minutes later. It really works fast and easy for me. I like the taste of the assorted fruit tablets and they don't taste too pasty like some other antacids so I don't mind taking them. These are often on sale and they have high value coupons to go with them so I am very pleased with them. We always have at least a bottle at home now so that when I feel bloated or have gastric uses, I can use them rightaway.

My family has been using Tums for a long time now and we are never without them in our medicine cabinets.  My husband, daughter, and I all use them.  My husband has heartburn after eating certain foods and Tums is the one medicine he can count on to combat the heartburn.  Leaving him feeling so much better and not miserable.  I had my gall bladder out a few years back and there are certain foods that give me an upset stomach but I can always count on Tums to make my not so good tummy feel oh so much better.  Even my daughter uses Tums when she has an upset tummy.  It's good to know that there is a product that works so well.  We love the assorted fruit flavors, but the one downside is that Tums do have a chalky texture to them, but since Tums works so well for us, we don't mind that minor issue.  Tums are priced well, a good value in my mind.  Also Tums are readily avaialbe at most any retailer.  We really feel like Tums has helped us all feel better.  We have them in the kitchen, in the bathroom, and in my purse.

in my review of tums ultra 1000 i just like this product so so so much. i like it so so so much beacuse it helped when i had a ulcer. i was diagnosed with having a ulcer in the year 2000. when i met my hunny in 2006 i told him i had a active ulcer that everytime i ate something saucey or spicey i would be in so much pain. so he said let me see if theres anything i can find on the internet that will help you or even take the ulcer away i said ok. so he told me that you know tums is an antacid that helps ulcer i said are you serious? he said yes i said i never knew that. so when i started taking them in 2006 i started feeling much much better that at times i was able to eat something spicey or even saucey. now it is 2010 and til this day i still take tums ultra 1000 because they really did stop my ulcer. it also stopped me from bleeding internally. i'm so glad that my hunny found these for me and helped me. i say buy them although they are a little pricey its worth it.
