My girlfriend is from Taiwan so she makes a lot of rice. The problem is I didn't own a rice cooker so she had to slump to making minute rice and uncle ben's. Her aunt sent us the Tayama TC-03 rice cooker and it has been a blessing. It comes with easy to follow directions. Just pour in the correct proportion of rice and water and put the lid on and click on. In about 30 minutes you'll have perfectly cooked rice and it is certainly worth the wait. It's always very fluffy and tastes better than I thought rice ever could. It will even keep the rice warm for you when it's done cooking. It comes with a steamer. We've only used it a couple of times but the bau zi we prepared was amazing. I'm sure it'd be good for anyone who wants to make steamed buns or dim sum. If you like rice, the Tayama TC-03 is a great value buy. You will probably have to order it online or stop in an Asian super market. This is my new favorite appliance.

We purchased this in an Asian shopping market and as we eat a lot of rice, we almost use it everyday and sometimes two times a day. The rice gets cooked very well and the rice grains are very fluffy once cooked. The rice gets cooked soft and tender especially for the kids easy to digest. We just need to add the proportionate amount of water for the rice depending upon what quality of rice we are using. If we make out this ratio perfect, we can have the best ever made rice. It also comes with a steamer and we use it steam vegetables for the little ones and we are really satisfied with this product. It has been lasting really long. The food can also kept in warm mode after cooking is done to have it served hot when needed. Overall, an excellent rice cooker.
