I received an iPad 3 for Christmas and I also received the Targus stylus with it. This is a great accessory to have for people who are quickly looking up things on the web or writing a quick email but don't have a keyboard. I have relatively small fingers but I still find it uncomfortable to spend lengthy amounts of time pressing buttons on the screen with my fingers, especially for emails. This cuts down on time and simplifies the ease of use of the ipad by allowing me to use this stylus in place of fingers. The tip of the stylus is a soft black material so I am not afraid of damaging the screen or accidentally scratching it. Also, this stylus is very easy to transport, fits easily in any pocket or bag, and you can even attach it with the clip to an ipad cover. Great device to have.

The Targus Stylus for Apple iPad AMM01US (Black) is perfect for someone who has bigger fingers that are always hitting the wrong key on the iPad. It does a great job at making sure that you hit the key that you intend to. The black tip on the end is made of a soft material that will not mar the screen of the iPad. I like this because I do not want to damage the screen on the iPad with something that is not meant for it. I bought mine from amazon because they had the best prices of all the places I looked for it. The Targus Stylus for Apple iPad AMM01US (Black) was available at a lot or retailers other than just amazon. The build quality of the stylus does seem a bit on the flimsy side but it has not given me any problems since I have had it. I can not really see it wearing out because of too much use either. I am not sure what people are doing with their styluses that they are breaking them.

This stylus has a soft tip which does not scratch the screen. It is an effective way to deal with small spaces which are difficult to access with a larger fingertip. It does not work for sliding across the screen as in the opening screen when you wish to unlock the iPad...neither does it work for some games where sliding is the best way to play. In other words, the stylus is not the only tool to use...sometimes your finger is the very best tool!

I bought this pen for my ipad, it works great, and makes it easier to use, however the durablility is not so great, and even worse, under the rubberized end, is metal. So, if the rubber comes off, you will be scratching your ipad screen with Metal, like my son did.. alteast we had a screen protector on...but it could have gotten really ugly. All that being said, we bought another one... we just plan on keeping it away from the 4 year old.

I have recently bought the Targus Stylus for Apple IPad. WOW!  (in a word) Here are the wonderful reason to buy: Getting to those hard to reach spots is no longer an issue. It slides easily across the screen, so turning pages is not a problem. It keeps the screen cleaner - no more oils from your hands. It's a nice size and weight in your hand, not to heavy and slippery. Reasonably priced. It clips nicely to the side of your IPad if you have the Apple cover. It also has a little spot for a string to go thru. I have arthritus in my hands, this make it so much easier. I can't believe I ever worked without it. I was using the Stylus and I had a stranger come over and ask me about it. I let them try it out - they were so excited they were going to go buy one! He kept saying, hey, did you see that little spot I could get with the stylus. My conclusion to the Targus Stylus for Apple Ipad is...a must have!
