I've used many SanDisk Cruzer USB flash drives over the past few years. I've always trusted this brand for reliability with memory and in operation. I've never had any problems with losing or corrupting files or damage to my computer. This flash drive holds a lot of files. They really help me stay organized, as well as transport and store my files. I've even dropped one pretty hard before and it kept working and there was no damage. While the SanDisk Cruzer does have a retractable USB plug, I wish they came with a cap. I have one USB that has a cap and I like it because I know that nothing is going to get crammed inside it while in my drawer or my purse. I do worry about the exposed end with the Cruzer. I would add that I recently discovered that you need to "eject" your USB flash drives from your computer before pulling them out. I always thought that was optional, but I was told that it helps prevent problems with your flash drives and your computer. So now, I always eject my SanDisk flash drive, because I want to make sure I take care of it, since it is doing sure an awesome job of taking care of things for me!

I've been using it mostly in my office. I bought this for a very good price. My office has approximately a hundred computer workstations. Every one of them is identical. I made an image from one of the stations and stored the image on this usb thumb drive.  Everytime when something goes wrong with any of these workstations, I connect this usb drive to the usb port and re-image the hard drive from the image stored in this usb thumb drive. I've been doing this for many times now, and this usb thumb drive has never failed me. It is a very reliable piece of equipment. All of the workstations are equipped with only usb 1.1. ports. Even though this thumb drive is usb 2.0, I have no problems connecting and using it on my workstations. This usb thumb drive looks cool too. Whenever files are being accessed from the thumb drive, the orange light on it will flash. When it is idle, the orange light will fade in and out. It is kind of soothing just to watch it. I am going to buy some more so I could use it at home too.

I have several of these and use them both for work and personal use. What a handy tool to stick in my purse and know that I have important data with me when I need it. I recently prepared to give an online power point presentation for work and there was a technological disaster that prevented me from being able to get online. Fortuantely, I remember that I had backed up my presentation to the the sandisk cruzer in my purse and I was able to get my powerpoint up on the wall without missing a beat. I also love being able to carry pictures to show family and friends. Sometimes it is not practical to email high resolution pictures, and I just load them on my cruzer and it's easy to share them. I'm really glad I have several of these!

The **SanDisk 4G Cruzer USB 2.0 Flash Drive (4 GB)** is a reliable flash drive with good memory. I bought a cheap 2gb snowboard flash drive recently and when I went home to try it out, it didn't even work. i tried it on a windows, mac, and even my friend's computer and it didn't work. Well, I glad this one works, all three of them. I bought three of them, just in case of an emergency or I lose one, and all of them work fine for macs (haven't tried windows yet). The **SanDisk 4G Cruzer USB 2.0 Flash Drive (4 GB) **is very light weight, not very appealing in design but at least its not flashy. Everything works smoothly and now problems so far. It also has a little slot for a chain or band to loop into so you can travel on the go without losing it. My old sony flash drive wasn't so reliable since it was fragile and the spring broke as well the insides of the flashdrive. The cruzer flashdrive is very reliable and sturdy, highly recommended anyone with computers.

Years ago, sandisk cruzer was way too expensive for my budget, but this year, when I was school shopping, I saw the cruzer for a great price.  I always had liked the style because you did not need to carry a cap around.  The cruzer has turned to be a great purchase.  The window pops up when it is plugged in, and data copies very fast to the flash drive.  I also installed some portable applications on the flash drive, and they load up very quickly when I want to use them.  The slider mechanism that opens the flash drive has a very strong lock, so that when pushed all the way out, the end of the stick cannot be pushed back in unless the slider bar is also pushed back.  This is a great design.  My bottom line:  the sandisk cruzer is a great, stylish product that can carry your filed wherever you need them.  It will not wear out anytime soon, and is quick to load and use.  It is a great buy for anyone on the go.
