This is a review of Sally Hansen Hard As Nails, Hard as Wraps. I purchased this product last week at the drug store in the color "Heartbeat Creme." The polish goes on GREAT and color looks wonderful. I had several comments at work about how lovely my nails looked. I didn't use a base coat but I did use a fast drying top coat. My only complaint about this polish is that I painted my nails on Friday night and by  Sunday morning they were chipping on my right hand. My left hand still looks great however. I'm sure that's because I'm right handed. I'd also like to say that I am very hard on my nails. I'm a nurse and wash my hands frequently so I'm sure this polish would stay on better for someone that didn't use their hands so much. It's seems to dry pretty fast and has a very glossy look. It's also pretty cheap. I believe you can find it almost anywhere that carries nail polish.

**** I discovered Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps product in the internet  a couple of month ago  when I was browsing for a new shade of polish. This product is different because it's an acrylic gel plus nylon. I want my nails to feel firmer and not like they are going to break or peel.  This patented Sally Hansen formula with acrylic gel feels like it is sealing my nails and protecting them from the elements. To me, if it has nylon in it, that is a real plus. This product claims that it can make your finger nails hard like wraps done in a nail salon. This is done in one easy step. The Sally Hansen Hard As Wraps seals and hardens finger nails. I didn't really know what nail wraps were, but I found out that a small piece of silk fabric is glued to the nail in a salon to help keep the nail strong. This is a similar idea, but it is not done with a piece of silk fabric, rather the nylon is in liquid form inside the bottle. This is a patented formula from Sally Hansen. I would recommend it to my friends and new customers

I have not been using nail polish for a long time, but Sally Hansen Hard as Nails was one of the first brands I used. I have decided since then, that I don't really like this brand. Its promise to be "Hard as Nails" is a farce. I never found that to be true. It seemed I was always having to redo my nails, they were always chipping or smudging. I will be honest and say it could've been because I was a newbie at using nail polish or because I always put a top coat on. I never found a top coat to be helpful, I don't know if it's because it was too much polish therefore making it too soft or what. I just don't think that I will ever use Sally Hansen's polish again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

**Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Hard As Wraps **nail polish is nail polish with a formula with Acrylic Gel that seals and hardens nails with an  instant, long-lasting wrap-like surface. This nail polish is supposed to mimic the qualities of getting acrylic nails (aka fake nails) without the damage that fake nails do to your real nails and, of course, without the weekly cost of going to the nail salon. Now I have very brittle real nails that don't grow and are really weak-one coat of this and my nails felt much, much stronger-almost unbreakable. The nail polish also left the nails super shiny. Of course, most nail polishes last about 2 or 3 days without chips if you're lucky-this one is no exception. My polish did chip after just a day or two which is normal for my nails. And if you're trying to go towards  more natural nail care, this is not a nail polish for you-the list of ingredients includes Ethyl Acetate and Butyl Acetate, as well as many others. This is a big drawback for me-I like that it made my nails feel stronger but want to be healthy too.

Working as both basecoat and topcoat, this gel is thick, yet dries quickly and keeps polish from chipping. Best of all, it makes nails TOUGH! I've been using some far more expensive and labor intensive stuff (recommended application was every day), and Triple Strong has it beat hands down (pun intended) in both price and effectiveness. Yay! Well i just started this product and it already is by far the best ive used. I love to keep my natural nails long, After talking to a number of beauty experts at various drug stores in my area, they ALL told me that Sally Hansen products are 'inferior' and basically at the bottom of their lists. Hmmm. doesn't surprise me. I should have talked to them first!! but im in the military so with all the movement and training is really hard to keep my nails from breaking or chipping. because im in the military wile in uniform i cant use color nail polish so i always stick to clear. this has been the first product that hasent chipped or peeled off right away. i love it and will continue to use it!

I recommend this product to everyone of my girlfriends that go out and ruin their fingernails by having acrylic overlays put on. There is not a chance of getting a nail fungus or other infection by picking a beautiful shade of polish and strengthening my own natural nails at home. Sally Hansen always offers great solutions to weak nails. They have done it again with the Hard As Wraps line. The polish has Acrylic gel and nylon built in. Even the weakest nails are strengthened and look beautiful! My family has a genetic line of brittle nails that peel and then curl around the ends of our fingers as we let them grow out. I introduced both my mother and grandmother to this polish and now all three of us are telling our friends. It is that good!

Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Hard as Wraps is keeping my professionally done manicures lasting a lot longer.  I apply a coat of the clear a day after getting my nails done and maybe again a couple days later.  I am amazed at how this prevents chipping an peeling.  Normally it only takes a day for me to nick my polish and ruin a manicure.  Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Hard as Wraps keeps my manicure looking perfect for days longer.  The clear polish adds great shine as well as amazing protection.  I was concerned that it would be difficult to remove but it comes off easily with regular polish remover.  I have not used any of the Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Hard as Wraps in colored polish.  I have only used the clear and I love it.  When I don't have time to go to the nail salon, I take off my old polish and just cover my nails with a coat or two of the clear.  My nails look great and they are stronger than ever.

I have used Sally Hansen "Hard as Nails" for years.  When I went to buy more and saw the "Hard As Wraps" product, I had to buy it!  I was not disapointed!  Not only does a daily application keep your nails strong (I strip it and start over on Saturday or Sunday), but it makes an awsome top coat for a new manicure or even for new polish over acrilic nails! I think it is well worth the price.  Add the fact that it is sold in many drugstores and mass merchandiser stores, and can often be purchased on sale, and you have a real winner on your hands!

Love this stuff! I had been wearing fake nails for about a year and my nalis were in terrible shape. :( Decided to give Sally Hanson Hard as Nails Hard as Wraps a try, With-in a few weeks my nails had grown longer than I had seen them in years or ever. I apply at least two coats to start with, then apply another coat every week or so. Then remomve and start all over again. Like most of the colors, but not impressed with the coverage of the sheer polish-definately not as good an investment as the matte and frosted polishes. The sheer polish doesn't last as long.

I wanted to harden m nails and make them shiny. I thought:"of course, hard as wraps will make them well, hard". I didn't even give this product a chance because as soon as I used it, when it dried, there was visible bubbles! I immediately took it off. That look was *not* desireable... I didn't even put two coats before I noticed.
