Most HelpfulQuicken Loans was the best group of people that I have encountered in many years. They expedited my refinance so quickly and so conveniently that I thought there was some catch to the process. People met me where I was at a work related conference and finalized the loan. Everyone I worked with...

Most HelpfulBeware! My husband and I decided to refi since the rates were low. We received a preapproved email that we qualified for the best broker rate with no points. We decided to send a interested email and spoke to the Broker, Doug Alexander. Everything was approved immediately and it sounded great...
read full review »I closed 2 loans with Quicken Loans. My mortgage guy Doug Blodick was efficient and very helpful. One of the loans was a purchase and I liked the way they took as much off of our plate as possible because we had a lot going on at the time. I very much recommend Doug at Quicken if you are lookin for a loan.
Lydia Garza was Great any time I needed Help she was there ,day or night. and she did everything she said she was going to do. I have recommended quicken loans to my sister and will do so to anyone who are looking to refinance there home in the future.
We were looking to refinance our mortgage, but got declined when the reappraisal came in $60,000.00 lower in just 2 years. Out of the blue, we got a call from Adam Throop of Quicken Loans. We never heard of Quicken Loans. Adam explained we could refinance and we needed to place a $500.00 refundable deposit. This seemed strange but decided to go ahead. The ball got rolling, so to speak, and we began to fill in the forms on the internet and then faxing information. Again, out of the blue, we received a call from another mortgage lender (don't remember name) who bad-mouthed Quicken Loans. ...
read full review »My husband and I were referred to Quicken Loans by a friend who had just completed a refinance on her home. We were interested in doing the same, and since she had a successful experience with them we decided to give them a try. We were also swayed by the fact that our mortgage banker was a friend of a friend. Upon our initial contact, this woman was very nice and assured me that she would go to bat for us and get us the absolute best deal she could because we were friends of her last customer. She said that 80% of her business was referral.
I have two major issues with the way our refi...
read full review »From the first inquiry, till the day the loan papers were signed, it could not have been easier. Quicken Loans was prompt to answer questions from the first phone call. If I needed information, either by e-mail or phone, they were always prompt in getting back to me with the information I requested. This was my first experience with online banking as other mortgages I have had were all local. I couldn't believe the ease and speed of closing. My thanks to all that helped with making this loan a very pleasant experience. My thanks to Quicken Loans. You are highly recommended to my friends and ...

My wife and I are very satisfied and pleased with the professionalism and high degree of quality customer services provided to us by Aws Ali and Derek Bolton at Quicken Loans. We had a lot of unsecured debt and did not want to go through Consumer Credit Counseling Services (CCCS) as we were afraid about how it would impact on our credit.
Whenever we had a question about the process, we received an almost immediate response from either Derek or Aws. They were both very attentive and helped us focus on getting the most out of our refinance loan. We contacted them on 5/26/09 to inquire...
read full review »I used Quicken Loans to refinance my house. The account person I worked with was great but the escalation person she referred me to when I had a question she couldn't answer was not so great. He was more of a high pressured "closer" and I never felt he answered my questions completely.
I also didn't like the $500 they asked for upfront but it did go toward my closing costs as promised.
The only really difficult thing I encountered was getting them to give me a copy of the appraisal before closing. The $500 deposit you give them up front is supposed to cover this and while they charged my credit...
read full review »We were referred to Quicken through FHA. My husband just graduated medical school and is now a doctor. We were moving from Oklahoma to Michigan for residency but the people at Quicken acted like we were criminals. We have a nice amount of savings set aside, but only wanted to put 3% down, so we could keep our money fluid because we have a family and things come up. They asked for the most inappropriate documents and personal information, that none of our other friends(who are starting residency AND have ALOT more debt and terrible credit scores versus ours) At first, it seemed like the process...
read full review »I dealt with no less than14 different people until I screamed that I wanted only one person to contact me. (I still had phone calls from others even then, but they told me Mr. X asked them to call - I guess he figured that wasn't someone else). I am one day away from closing and have had at least 35 phone calls between us, mostly calls asking for paperwork I had already sent them (up to 6 times for the same item). I honestly don't think we will settle tomorrow because I found about 12 errors in the closing paperwork, including an increase in the points I have to pay even though I have a locked...

We were in an 80/20 interest only mortgage arm that was due to go up next year. We researched banks and the programs offered on other sites when we came across Quicken Loans. THey had the lowest closing costs and explained the programs to us in detail. I work for a bank and they even beat the employee mortgage program offered by my employer! Everything was done by phone, fax & email. It was convienent and fast. We were able to lock in the lowest rate possible at the time for a 30 yr fixed, & skip 2 mtg pmts. They obtained all the necessary payoffs...

I just completed a quicken Loans 1st home FHA Loan. How did I get involved with quicken loans... Well searching for the lowest rates. My credit score isn't the best and I was looking at rates around the internet. And saw that quicken could give me 4.5% so I gave them a call. I was connected to Bryan P who was very very smooth on the phone. Everything sounded too easy. I got some stuff started passed info and was still extremely skeptical. This went on for about a week while I was reading good and bad reviews for quicken loans. I went through 1000 reviews or so and could chalk the bad ones up...
read full review »My advice for somebody that is taking a loan with quicken is: 1. You have to keep on them, they wont tell you what to do you have to ask. 2. If you are doing a mortgage or a refi they wont hurry you through the process but they will take their time if you dont stay on them. Why that matters is because, in my situation I got a rate of 5%, You then have to pay $400 to lock in the rate for 30 days (seems like alot of money but it goes toward your closing costs at the end). My 30 days was comming to an end and it was all in their hands to finish, I had done all of the paperwork on my end and they...
read full review »The refinancing with Quiken Loans was great and what a pleasure to deal with so many professional people. It started with Mortgage Banker Rachel Jackson, to Client Care Specialist Megan Griffin, to Closing Specialist Theo Tucker, and finally to the Accountant Tracey Rowan who even came to our house to do the closing! What service! Even though I was somewhat apprehensive at first, all of the above mentioned personnel took me by the hand and led me through it all....I was able to send all my information via the internet and if I had any questions they were promptly answered by the aforementioned...
