Picot is a basic antacid. It has two active ingredients: sodium bicorbonate and citric acid. If you're old enough to remember, it is the same thing as Alka Seltzer Gold, except that it is in power form instead of tablets. In recent years, many similar products have been adding additional ingredients such as pain killers, antihistimines, decongestants, or cough suppressants. This is fine if you are looking for a cold rememdy, but frustrating if you are just looking for something for indigestion and don't want to take extra medicine that you don't need. It is comparably priced, or even a bit less expensive than similar products. It is simple to use - just add it to water and drink, it is a powder so it dissolves more quickly than tablets, and, most importantly, it works and works quickly. It can be found at most drugstores and discount stores. The only down side is that unlike other similar products it does not add flavoring so it doesn't taste all that great.
