I have taken pepcid complete for over 10 years one or two tablets a day depending on usually what i have eaten. spicy mexican ,food italian food ,fried foods really set the acid reflux off. One pepcid complete chewable tablet takes care of the reflux usually for about 24hrs. This was a great product but in south east New Mexico and west Texas it cant be found anymore so i dont know what has happened to it but for at least 4 months now its not been available here. As for as i know i have had no side affects from the use of pepcid complete  so i considered it a great product.

I love Pepcid Complete Chewable Tablets, and am so greatful to the makers of this product! They provide instant relief for me when I get acid reflux. I had been getting Acid Reflux for some time, which I can only describe as a ball of fire in my throat, and nothing worked for it until I tried Pepcid Complete. It gets rid of the reflux fast and keeps it from coming back for the rest of the day unlike other brands that do either one or the other. Some brands seem to only work as a detterant from getting it and some seem to only relieve the acid reflux temporarily. I know that when I take Pepcid complete I won't have to worry for the rest of the day, and I don't have to take it "just in case" either.The only complaint I have about it is the Berry Flavor, it leaves a horrible aftertaste.They are a little pricey but using coupons and shopping sales I have been able to stock up and have them on hand.

Two years ago I was pregnant with my first child and, like many pregnant women, was experiencing miserable heartburn. It was so bad I developed a nasty cough that kept me (and my poor husband) awake at night. My voice was always hoarse-I sounded like an 80 year old chainsmoker! I tried taking Tums, but it just didn't help. After talking to my doctor, I started taking Pepcid Complete. It helped immediatly. I felt 100% better! My cough went away, I was able to sleep through the night, and I was free of the pain and irritation of constant heartburn. The only problem was if I went somewhere and forgot to take the medicine with me-as soon as it was time to take another dose, the heartburn returned with some force and I would be mierable again until I could get home and take a Pepcid Complete. Now that I am pregnant with my second child, I feel lucky to have found such an effective medicine for my heartburn and I always keep a bottle of Pepcid Complete in my purse.

These delicious little chewables are a great way to get rid of heartburn and indigestion.  My mom has acid reflux, and I have IBS as well as some other digestive issues, and Pepcid Chewables get rid of heartburn and indigestion *fast*.  While the tablet itself tastes great (a berry flavor), it does have a bitter aftertaste, which I found can be taken care of by drinking something (even a glass of water) right after chewing and swallowing.  Other than that, they are great! I found that my heartburn and indigestion relief lasted all day with Pepcid, though my Mom found that hers came back sometimes, so it my depend on what you have.  My recommendation would be to buy 1 pack and see how it works.  Before going on these, I was eating Tums like candy with absolutely no results, but these you only have to take one every 24 hours.  Since they are chewable tablets, you can take them on the go as well as at home!

Woke up in the middle of the night with terrible heartburn. Had some heavy pasta the night before. Got one of these pills and fell asleep right away. The heartburn was gone. In the morning, no more heartburn. The relief was almost immediate. These are much better working than the Tums I would usually take. I'm sold and switching to pepcid.

In the past I've tried many different antacids, but none have worked like Pepcid Complete. I rarely get heartburn anymore and I do think it's because of this great product. It seems to have cured my heartburn over time. Even when I first started taking it, when my heartburn would make me want to run to the emergency room (although I didn't), just one tablet (they're chewable) immediately stopped all pain and kept it away for a whole day. Seriously, a whole day. It went on this way for a while, then I noticed I was not getting heartburn for long stretches of time, even though I only chewed a tablet when I had the symptoms. As time went by, the stretches between heartburn lasted longer and longer. Now I rarely get it, although I always keep Pepcid Complete around just in case. Great product. Also, it comes in mint and berry flavors. I use mint (very mild taste) because the last thing I want during a bout with heartburn is to chew on a sweet tablet. Try it. I believe it will work for you too.
