They may be overstocked,but they dont have cheap prices at all!

Overstock doesnt have inexpensive things, I have bought an electronic item from them, and the mp3player broke within the first week. I bought it for my 16 yr old....I have tried to watch for bargain with them, but I just can't seem to find anything worth while...everyone on line raves about os but, i just don't think I'll be giving them any buisness, anytime in the near future....I don't recomend them at all. —… read full review »

I love to shop online, but so many times I find great deals but then end up spending a lot on shipping.  Well Overstock.com is great because not only do they have bargain prices, but shipping was just a flat rate of $2.95 no matter how much I ordered.  They have discounted wares in all types of categories, from books to movies to clothes, to appliances.  I ordered a lot of bakeware and cookbooks and found bargain prices.  The problem with their supply is that it is limited so once the good deals are snatched, they are gone.  I ordered and processing was easy and my… read full review »

Overstock.com's best offer is the low shipping!!  They offer a massive variety of products.  I have found that their prices are not always the lowest though.  Twice I've ordered things and when I received them, they were not as they were described on their site.  I did get a prompt refund when I returned them.  — My boyfriend bought me an absolute gorgeous ring this Christmas from them.  I've never had so many compliments (from friends and strangers) on a piece of jewelry. — As with shopping on any website, be careful and really read the reviews… read full review »

I checked out this site due to being a MyPoints subscriber. I thought with the point value, it would really rack up the points. After shopping around other places, I found that the items I wanted were much more expensive here($10.00 more for a video game!) Since they offer a "Best Price" guarantee, I followed their instructions on the two items I wanted, and waited for their response. While searching for a new memory card for my Sony camera, I came across overstock.com. I looked into a couple of the box stores and did some price comparison. Overstock was less expensive and the shipping was $2.95. The check-out process is quite easy and shipping was fairly quick. I have purchased several items from Overstock.com. I have never had one complaint about one item that I have purchased. I have purchased items from clothing to electronics. Its a great place to shop. All the prices are cheaper then you can find in the store and the shipping cost is very reasonable! I will continue to do business with them on a regular basis. I usually buy all my books at Overstock.com. Even new books are much cheaper than any other site I've found. For example, the list price of the book, A Long Way Gone, is $22. On Overstock.com, I bought it new for $11 + Shipping, so it was only approximately $14. — The site sells hardbacks, paperbacks, audio books (CDs). Although I'm a rewards member at all of the "live" bookstores like Borders, B&N, etc., I buy 90% of my books at Overstock. — It takes about a week to get your order, which isn't bad considering some sites ship your order, then it takes up to two weeks to get to… read full review »

I had ordered from Overstock once before and everything was just fine. On the second order, both products were faulty. The pan flute which looked like the real thing was just a toy and did not work. I shipped this back and of course was charged for the restocking fee. A PC game was absolutely wrecked. It had been opened and was so scratched that it was ruined. I wrote to Overstock and told them that I would not ship it back because I felt they would just ship it out to another customer and that it wasn't worth the shipping fee nor the restocking fee. — I never received a refund from… read full review »

I ordered a bench for a Christmas gift from Overstock.com on December 12th .   It was shipped to a FedEX location on December 14th.   From that point on, there was no longer any communication despite attempts to find out where the bench was!  Today I received an email saying the bench had been returned and my money refunded.   I 'chatted' with a person who said there was a 'shipping' error, and the bench was no longer in stock.  If it was out of stock, why did the tracking information show that it had been shipped to a FedEx location??  Could they… read full review »

I have found that most of the stuff on Overstock.com is not that much of a bargain, and especially since you add S&H on top of the "so called bargain price".  Wallmart's quality is better and you can see the item up close and also better for returning if you are not satisfied.  I bought something about a year ago from Overstock.com and when I received it, it was cheap made, even though the price was reasonable, but not really "cheap" so the merchandise did not live up to the ad.  I tried to return it and got nothing but grief.  Will not do business with them… read full review »

This is a great website if you are looking for some quality products with a low price. I do a lot of research before I actually buy something, and I use their live chat once in a while. They are great! If I have any general questions about the products they are always prompt to help me find the answers.
