After finishing my review for Contempo Kitchen Towels, I realized that I had never reviewed Overstock.com which is where I bought the towels.  How could I have slipped up like that?!!!

Shopping on-line has become one of my favorite past times in the last several years and during that time, I've experienced both the good and the bad of on- line shopping. One of the fairly decent experiences has been the web site Overstock.com, an on- line store with a wide variety of merchandise just waiting to be purchased.

Overstock doesnt have inexpensive things, I have bought an electronic item from them, and the mp3player broke within the first week. I bought it for my 16 yr old....I have tried to watch for bargain with them, but I just can't seem to find anything worth while...everyone on line raves about os but, i just don't think I'll be giving them any buisness, anytime in the near future....I don't recomend them at all.

Overstock.com's best offer is the low shipping!!  They offer a massive variety of products.  I have found that their prices are not always the lowest though.  Twice I've ordered things and when I received them, they were not as they were described on their site.  I did get a prompt refund when I returned them. 

My boyfriend bought me an absolute gorgeous ring this Christmas from them.  I've never had so many compliments (from friends and strangers) on a piece of jewelry.

I checked out this site due to being a MyPoints subscriber. I thought with the point value, it would really rack up the points. After shopping around other places, I found that the items I wanted were much more expensive here($10.00 more for a video game!) Since they offer a "Best Price" guarantee, I followed their instructions on the two items I wanted, and waited for their response. When I finally heard from them, they stated although they would recognize the sites they were not able to comp them due to the fact I had not bought from the their site first.

Overstock.com is a great place to shop for bargains.  I have been a repeat customer for years...From living room furniture, to shower curtains and bedding, the quality of their products are usually great.  In the four years of purchasing from their store, it wasn't until this past Christmas that I ran in to a problem with their company.  I bought my nephew a iPOD for a gift.  It came defected.  I phoned  and they were very accommodating and sent my nephew a RO # with a pre paid return box. The second IPOD came and low and behold that one was broke to.  Trying to get the second one replaced...

I usually buy all my books at Overstock.com. Even new books are much cheaper than any other site I've found. For example, the list price of the book, A Long Way Gone, is $22. On Overstock.com, I bought it new for $11 + Shipping, so it was only approximately $14.

The site sells hardbacks, paperbacks, audio books (CDs). Although I'm a rewards member at all of the "live" bookstores like Borders, B&N, etc., I buy 90% of my books at Overstock.

It takes about a week to get your order, which isn't bad considering some sites ship your order, then it takes up to two weeks to get to you.

I ordered a bench for a Christmas gift from Overstock.com on December 12th .   It was shipped to a FedEX location on December 14th.   From that point on, there was no longer any communication despite attempts to find out where the bench was!  Today I received an email saying the bench had been returned and my money refunded.   I 'chatted' with a person who said there was a 'shipping' error, and the bench was no longer in stock.  If it was out of stock, why did the tracking information show that it had been shipped to a FedEx location??  Could they not have told me that when I  contacted...
