Nars The Multiple Stick - Great as a bronzer

By

from Portland, OR

Comments about Nars The Multiple Stick:

I don't use The Multiple as a blush or eyeshadow, but I absolutely love using it as a bronzer and to give my lips a glowing, warm look. I am fair-skinned, and the South Beach color (described as a shimmering apricot) is actually a deep enough color to work as a bronzer for me. Definitely try out different shades, because it is available in about about a dozen different colors, most of them deeper than South Beach. I find that on my eyes it looks too red/pink which isn't flattering on me, makes me look like my eyes are irritated! On my lips, it would be drying and too matte used alone, but with some clear gloss over it I'm good to go. This product has been around for a long time, and has stood the test of time. Other brands have come out with their own versions, but I seem to recall that the Nars Multiple was the original, and in my opinion, it hasn't really been improved upon. I have tried other types of similar products, and they often look too thick and sparkly, whereas the Multiple goes on sheer and natural.

It's alright

Comments about Nars The Multiple Stick:

Nothing special about it. I have a medium toned skin tone. I heard a lot of rave about Copacabana and purchased it in hopes of seeing it's uniqueness. It's not unique. It's basically provides a wet sheen, with super tiny silver glitter/sparkles. It's a multiple in the sense I can use it as a highlighter on my cheekbones, brow bone, run it down my nose bridge. I personally use it on my eyelids, and it does crease on my lid without a base, very easily. I have slightly oily skin (mainly T zone) and I've noticed that the product seems to slip off after a while. It just loses its intensity/appearance, and becomes less noticable. If you use it on the cheek bones, and if you're like me, you want it to stay on your cheek bones and slide down to the rest of your face, and it has that tendency. In general it's a beautiful illuminator, but there are plenty of products (dupes/drug store brands) out there that provide the same visual effect, for a reasonable price. This product is too pricey and doesn't promise much longevity.

Love my NARS Multiple stick!

By

from Hondo, TX

Comments about Nars The Multiple Stick:

The NARS Multiple stick comes in many different shades, but my review is on the shade Cap Vert, which is a nice bronze.  Other shades, such as Orgasm, would be great for blush, eyes & lips (which is the purpose of a Multiple stick), but I use mine simply as bronzer, for contouring and such.  Anyway, when used in the hollows of my cheekbones it doesn't give me a bronzed look as much as a light glow, which I'm really enjoying in winter.  It goes on so smoothly, blends easily, looks natural and has impressive staying power. With a light pink blush (I highly suggest Smashbox blush in Radiance -- it looks hot pink in the pan, but goes on beautifully!), this is a really healthy, but subtle glowy look for winter.  It can be used for contouring, like I said, or it can also be used like a normal cream blush. The color is super flattering. It is totally matte, a warm muted light brown.  It looks a lot darker in the stick than it looks on skin, so don't be scared to try it!  It's subtle and blends well, but builds well too, so I can imagine it working for a range of skin tones.

Perfect on the go stick for the busy girls!

Comments about Nars The Multiple Stick:

I have combination skin which can get very oily at times whenever it wants to. So, I have to say this product is definitely not cheap, but it is well worth the price and makes me look amazing anytime that I am wearing it. This product was super easy to apply to my cheeks, nose bridge or anywhere that I wanted a little hint of color. I love that Nars The Multiple Stick blended so easily with my skin tone and gave me a gorgeous all over glow with minimal effort when I am rushing out the door in the morning. The texture the cream when it applied on the skin is very silky feeling and the biggest plus about it is that it went on non-greasy. It does not cake or crease up throughout the day for me, it just looks so natural on me. The packaging is similar to an lipstick but does more jobs than a single lipstick so this is a must have in my purse or car at all times. There is minimal shimmer so it does not look like I am wearing a bunch of glitter on my face, it looks natural enough to the point its like a healthy glow.

NARS the Multiple Stick - great multipurpose makeup

By

from La Jolla, CA

Comments about Nars The Multiple Stick:

NARS "the Multiple" stick is a staple in my handbag, since you can use it for your eyes, cheeks, and lips, and the colors are lovely!  It comes in shades that work for every skin tone.  I've been trying to downsize the makeup bag I keep in my purse, since my purses are getting too heavy, and the Multiple Stick is perfect for my purposes.  It is creamy and smooth and very easy to use, and it blends into my skin so easily without feeling greasy or oily.  This is important because my skin is already oily!

My favorite shades are Maui, a reddish shade, and Malibu, a more plum-ish color.  It leaves a slight, shimmery tint and is great for an occasional touch-up on the go.  It is perfect when you want to work a natural look since it isn't very dramatic.  Just make sure you don't cake it on - since it's creamy, you just need a smidgeon.  I use it on my cheeks, a bit on the lips, and sometimes under my eyebrows.
