When members of my family face occasional heartburn we reach for the antacids.  Our brand of choice is Member's Mark extra strength calcium Antacid Tablets in assorted berry flavors.  The berry flavors are the only kind I can tolerate as banana and pineapple flavored antacids are positively vile!  It takes three or four tablets to soothe my heartburn so that I can sleep at night.  The bottle says that the active ingredient is the same ast Tum E-X.  The flavor isn't too bad but I don't like the chalky texture of these antacid tablets.  When I was pregnant the chalky texture set off my gag reflex so I would often drink a glass of milk in hopes that I could avoid taking the antacid.  There are other antacid products that have a much smoother texture but this is an area I'm not willing to pay more for.  I can get two 200 tablet bottles for about the same price as 1 of another store brand and for less then one bottle of the smoother textured name brand antacids.  I just can't see paying twice as much for better flavor when I only have to use them on occasion.  If you don't mind a bit of chalkiness I think this is the best value in antacid tablets out there.
