Rice Cooker and Steamer in one!
I've had this rice cooker for a few years now and I love it. I bought it on sale when I was in my sushi phase, but I still use it today even though I don't make sushi anymore. This is a simple to understand machine. You pull it in and it turns on automatically. There are two options with the switch, cook or warm. The cook button is for when you cook rice and after it's done it will automatically switch to warm. Therefore, it will keep your cooked rice warm until you're ready to use it. It usually takes around 30 minutes to fully cook the rice. It comes out perfect every time. HOever, my rice tends to stick to the bottom. Some ideas, I'm not putting enough water in, and I might need to wash the rice beforehand. The steamer option is amazing with this! Just put some water in the bowl, set for cook so it boils or steams and then put the steam portion on top. Place our vegetables in the steamer and check up of the veggies every so often until done. It's perfect! It keeps the nurtrients inside the vegetables and it's easier then trying to steam them with a normal pot and contration (especially if you don't have one). All and all, I love this thing. And after all these years it's still working perfectly!
