MaxFactor erase cover up does what it promises but not much more

Max Factor Erase Cover Up does "cover up" blemishes, but it left my skin looking chalky and unnatural.  I found that the color did match my skin well, and completely covered up the blemishes.  Yet I would not recommend it to anyone really wanting an overall natural appearance.  I had to use an additional overall face cream to smooth it out and then powder over that to completely make the look appear natural. The price was right in range with what I expect to spend for Max Factor and for a good blemish concealer, but when you aren't happy with the results - it is just a waste of money.  Overall, I would definately not purchase again, and the one I did went into the trash.  Others may have different experiences with it, it might have been just my skin type or the look that I was trying to achieve.  Max Factor usually does not disappoint me, so I will continue to try their products and continue using the ones I have been using for quite a time now.

well as for color the Max factor cover up is wonderful, but on the other hand thats if they have a color close to ur tone. when your putting it on it goes on so easy but then after your done or even a few hours later you start to notice all the couver up is clumping up in the creases an d wrinkles in your face witch calls for a touch up or cmplete removal and then reapplication of it.

I have always liked Max Factor products, but I find now that I am in my 50's, they don't work as well for me.  This particular product, the erase, tends to get caught in the wrinkles under my eyes, even when I powdered over it.  I tried a different technique, by adding it *on top *of the base makeup, but that didn't work either. It still tended to get caught in my 'laugh lines'.  Although I'm very proud of those lines, and they are all well-eraned, it's really not a good look for an old gal!  I'm not sure if there's too much moisture or not enough in the product, but I'm afraid I'll have to give up my Max Factor erase and start looking for something else.

I have very fair skin and very sensitive skin, so I am always overly concious of the products I choose on use on my face.  I've used Max Factor products since I was a teen - starting with pancake make up and loose powder - just like my mother.  Don't we all tend to use the same products - at least at first - as our mothers?  Due to my fair, Scots-Irish skin, I do not tan, but burn, so I learned to compensate by making the most out of my "southern magnolia skin"! :) I have broken capillaries and redness on my cheeks and nose and have developed red moles, so I need extra coverage.  That's where Max Factor's erace cover up comes in.  I promise you it will cover any blemish - from acne to rosacea.  Unlike other concealers I have used, Max Factor's cover up does not cake when you apply foundation and powder.  I always use moisturizer first, then apply my Max Facotr erace cover up, blending carefully.  Then, finish with my foundation and powder - perfection!  Even in hot, humid weather!
