As a general rule, I love all things Longaberger. Their baskets are beautiful, and useful at the same time. I had a table, that somehow ended up at my mothers house in one of my moves, along with this casserole dish. The table I let her keep, the dish I promptly swiped back! I love this dish. It was actually a gift I received years ago as a thank you for helping a friend through a rough time. It has to be one of the best and nicest gifts I've ever received from a friend! It's really pretty and amazingly functional all at the same time. This casserole dish is both oven safe and microwave safe, so that's nice. The lid keeps things warm after cooking and I think it also keeps food cooking evenly without burning too. Ease of Cleaning This can't go in the dishwasher, which for many people may be inconvenient, but I wash all my dishes by hand so this is nothing out of the ordinary for me. Design It's functional as well as pretty to look at! Great for going from the oven to the table! Doesn't Stick Even though this doesn't have a non-stick coating, the glaze or whatever is on it seems to stop a lot of sticking. I haven't had any more problems with this dish than any others.
