About the Logitech LX7 Cordless Optical Mouse

This silver mouse runs on two AA batteries. It is compatible with both Windows and MAC operating systems but I am not sure if it is supported by Windows Vista. The mouse comes with software but a friend with the same mouse said he didn't install his and the mouse works fine....

I originally bought the Logitech LX7 because it has a "Power" button. I thought it'd be great to turn the thing off when I went to bed to conserve batteries. I don't know what I was thinking; it's never once crossed my mind to actually use it. Moreover, when I've been replacing the batteries and noticed yet again the "Power" button and been reminded it's there, I see it's far too small for me to use it anyway. I'd split a fingernail trying to push it (it's wide but short), and surely a man, with his larger fingers, would be hard-pressed to press it, too. Seems to me only a child stands a chance...

The Logitech LX7 wireless mouse is a great buy. I searched for some time for a quality wireless mouse that wouldn't break the bank. I picked up the Logitech online for cheap, and I've been more than satisfied. The best thing about this mouse is the invisible laser tracking light. Rather than the bright red light that most optical mice use, this uses a faint red light that's barely visible. The Logitech cordless optical mouse works great with my laptop. If you don't have a USB port for your mouse it also comes with a PS2 to USB adapter. There is also an optional base stand for your USB plug if you do not want to plug it straight into your computer
