This is a neat little device which I would only recommend depending on what you want to use it for. If you want to use it as your main desktop, then I would not recommend it. If you want to use it maybe in the kitchen (for casual web browsing), guest bedroom (allow your guest to get on the net), or as a home theatre PC, then I would recommend it. Despite it having a dual core Intel Atom processor, it includes a Nvidia Ion graphics chip which will enable the unit to play 720p and 1080p media without any problems. The unit will struggle if you are trying to multitask, play games, or run YouTube/Hulu HD unfortunately. I paired this unit with XBMC Dharma, media center software, and it works beautifully. I'm able to stream videos/pictures/music from my desktop without any problems and run from the 500GB hard drive inside. It includes an ethernet port and WiFi, and you can output it to your television via VGA or HDMI to get both video + audio. Don't buy this as a desktop replacement unless you will only use it for web browsing and writing notes.
