This is a small unit but it is mighty when it cools. I have it in my kitchen and it will get so cold in there that the windows will fog up and have condensation on them. I like when Im cooking it will keep the kitchen cool when the oven is on. My oven is trying to heat the kitchen and the air conditioner is trying to cool it. The AC wins everytime. I would recommend this AC to anyone who has one room that needs to be cooled. It wont cool any of the rooms coming off the kitchen, so dont expect it to cool multiple rooms. That is the only con I have found that this AC has. But then I bought it to cool my kitchen when Im cooking and when its so hot the central ac wont cool it. I am very happy with it an suggest it to anyone needing an ac for one room. This is the second year I have used it. During the winter I took it out of the window and stored it in the shed. WHen it started to warm up this year I reinstalled it in the same window. I then switched it on and no problems. Working the same as it did when it was brand new. One more thing, I run this unit constantly during the summer and my electric bill goes up only a slight bit. Its energy efficient.
