Totally love this toaster. It has lots of extra room for waffles or whatever besides toast. It is a very sturdy toaster, shining and sparkling upon delivery. Only took seconds for the waffles to be done, so the heat was very high. In love!

This toaster was a moving in present for my new apartment, and in terms of bells and whistles, I cannot complain.  At first it seemed great, heating, toasting, everything to the right temperature and crispiness. I use it primarily for bagels, toast, English muffins, gorditas, and sometimes if my hands are really cold. As far as toasters go, I don't think I can really complain.  The bagel and frozen button get plenty of use from my graduate student lifestyle.  I am always happy for that little lever that raises the bottom so I can get my thin pieces of toast out from the bottom and not lose a single bite (or worse yet, drop crumbs to the bottom).  And finally I can't complain about it's work with english muffin nooks.   It just feels like there's something missing.  The frozen treats are defrosted well enough, but it feels like it's taking longer every day that passes.  Maybe it's the cold, but the heating isn't consistent, and it takes a bit of work to get the exact right temperature.

My spouse originally picked this toaster out because it "looked space age" (ha ha). We have a very modern home with all stainless steel and everything it black and gray (with random splashes of color). So, we originally purchased this toaster because of the Krups name and because it went well in our kitchen. We got very lucky because this toaster works so well. It toasts evenly (no darker or lighter spots) and the "darkness levels" are quite accurate. It is important because I like my toast "well done" and my spouse likes it barely toasted. The bagel function is also quite convenient (toasting only one side when the bagel button is pressed... it lights up blue so you know it is on).This toaster does not make a mess on my counter either. Other toasters I have owned leave crumbs all over the couter when moved. Not this toaster. It is very easy to clean and still looks as nice as the day we purchased it two years ago.

Tis toaster toasts everything evenly!  No spots too done, no spots not done. We love the bagel feature (only toasts one side. Also the rack lifts up high so you can get english muffins out without burning your fingers. Th warming rack on the top comes in handy as well.

My husband and I got this toaster for our wedding a few years ago and use it very frequently. I love the fact that it's wide enough to toast a bagel and it has a thawing function, which is also a big plus. I like to keep some frozen breakfasts that can be easily throw into the toaster, thawed and then toasted to perfection. It does a great job and it has numerous setting to set so you get the right crispiness. The only thing that I don't like about it, which I believe is the same story with every toaster, is that it's so hard to clean. It does come with a removable tray on the botton to get the crumbs out of there but bread crumbs always get stuck around the heatining elements and other areas that you cannot just take apart and clean. I would also recommend getting a toast with 4 slots if you have a large family but just for two people, this toaster is a jewel. I love it and would definitely recommend it.
