The Kef IQ90's are great speakers don't get me wrong. The mids and highs are amazing and reproduce life like sound, it's just the lack of bass from a speaker that boasts two 6.5" woofers dedicated to bass reproduction that is disapointing. On the upside the tiny amount of bass they do produce is quite accurate. The speaker cabinets are quite beautiful and really demand that you see them in person to truly appreciate, they are available is several difference finishes. The KEF IQ70's use the same exact drivers as the KEF IQ90's just one less 6.5" woofer and are a good deal cheaper then the IQ90's. The extra money you save can go towards a decent subwoofer to reproduce the missing frequencies. Auto setup on receivers tend to think the bass cutts off at 140hz which is pretty bad for a so called 3 way speaker. If you happen to find the KEF IQ90's for the same price as the IQ70 go for it but don't waste your money on the IQ90 expecting added bass.
