Jura-Capresso Impressa Z5 is a piece of junk!

This machine has given us problems almost since day one. We've owned it about three years, don't make more than a dozen cups a week, and we've suffered through too many frustrations due to its many high-maintenance issues. Error messages abound. And don't think we haven't babied our investment. Nothing but bottled spring water has ever been used in this machine, and we've been super vigilant about the oiliness of the beans. Jura has been little help resolving our problems. Just try reaching your hand up inside to clean the trap as they suggest! You have to be a contortionist, and have hands the size of a child's!Yes, it's easy to use, when it works. It does use a lot - and I do mean a lot - of water. Using spring water will cost you. And you should also know that while this machine makes a better cup of coffee than most of the cheaper machines we've tried, it doesn't compare to cafe coffee at all, so set your expectations accordingly. For the price, I expected it to last longer than three years! We will not buy another coffee maker from this company. After much research our replacement coffee maker is an Alex Duetto Expresso Machine, and a good Vario grinder.  We even took a homeowner's barista class, and started roasting our own beans.  Now we make better coffee than the coffee houses do!
