Clear Sound from JVC Headphones

Comments about JVC - - Flat Stereo Headphones:

These JVC Headphone give you a nice clear tweeter sound at a very affordable price. If you're looking for low bass you'll need to spend more money on another set, but if you like a nice crisp and clear sound these will work just fine for you.

Sound Quality
The sound is good quality but doesn't have much bass. You pick up on lower tone of surrounding sounds if you don't blast the volume. Which is okay for me. I don't want to drown out all surrounding sounds, but I like to be able to hear nice crisp music. Ideal for what I want out of my headphones.

Comfort
The headphones fit nicely on the ear. They are lighter than expected and unlike other similar headphones that are heavy, you will forget you have them on. Plus they are not jammed down in your eat and causing irritation.

Design
Nice small and sleek design for headphones that sit on your ear. Has a cool shiny shell that allows you to add a little style with your headphones. They sit on your head pretty well and will stay in place during light exercising.

Durability
Be careful about continuing to wrap the cords around earpieces when not in use. If you keep doing that you will put stress on the cords which can cause them to come loose or break a connection and you will lose sound in one if not both earpieces.

Nothing fancy, but they do the job!

By

from Columbiaville, MI

Comments about JVC - - Flat Stereo Headphones:

I was looking for an inexpensive headphone set primarily to listen to talk radio. I've used ear buds, but after time, they bother my ears. While I wouldn't say they have the best sound, you get what you pay for. They do the job I purchased them for. The cord could have been a little longer. I'm a tall person and often like to keep my radio in my back pocket. Can't do that and use these headphones. Size wise, they are suitable for the tote bag I frequently carry. Only wish that they would come with a protective case. I overcame that by storing them in a gallon size ziploc bag. As for color, I wasn't looking to make a fashion statement, so the lack of different colors was a non issue for me.

Good value, excellent for travel

By

Comments about JVC - - Flat Stereo Headphones:

Good value for the price, and easy to carry around, especially for travel. Bought mine during a sale, and they seem to be doing just fine!
However, I do have a tiny grouse with the size of the earpieces, as they are a bit small, so i do wish they can be slightly bigger for a better fit to block out ambient noise.

JVC Headphones work well

By

from Mobile, AL

Comments about JVC - - Flat Stereo Headphones:

JVC is a good brand. They offer inexpensive electronics and accessories. I bought these headphones because I was looking for something with a bit better noise reduction than average in ear headphones. But I can't Bose or any of those more expensive (but probably better quality) brands so I got these mostly for the fact they go over the ear.

The sound quality is good and I like they are easy to put away and fold flat when you aren't using them. The soft Styrofoam type material around the ear piece is a decent noise reducer and makes the head phones a bit more comfortable. However, when I have them on for more than 2 hours or so they start to hurt my ears, but maybe I'm just sensitive.

These are obviously not going to be professional quality and can't compare to some other more expensive brands and noise reducers or professional stereo headphones but they do the job.

Overall, the sound quality is good, the ear phones aren't too bulky and they are inexpensive. Good for casual listeners, road trips..etc.

Cheap & Great!

By

from Gravois Mills, MO

Comments about JVC - - Flat Stereo Headphones:

I used to have a mini studio to record music in when I was younger and I wish they'd have made these headphones now. I have a pretty busy life now and the family has to share the living room, due to cramped space so I'm usually doing homework for classes while mom and sis are watching television. Until now it's been hard to reach a happy medium. These headphones block out a lot of noise (such as people trying to chat with you when you're trying to read something or listen to a video) and this blocks most of it out. Enough that I can concentrate and get my work done and everyone else can enjoy their tv time! So it's wonderful thanks so much JVC! Oh and you can hear it really well without having to turn the videos up all the way.

JVC's Flat Stereo Headphones are comfortable & effective!

By

from Wheeling, IL

Comments about JVC - - Flat Stereo Headphones:

My husband bought these headphones for me because I work from home transcribing audio files and was using an old pair of headphones I had found from my college days. Since then, I have been using these on a regular basis and LOVE them. The padding is very comfortable and they can be worn for extended periods of time without hurting or bothering your ears. The padding also works to partially block out other sounds and make the sound in the headphones clearer and louder. As a mom of 3, I really like this because I want/need to hear what's going on around me when I'm working, but appreciate that it's slightly muted. The cord is also long enough to go from our CPU which is on the floor up to my ears. I'm only 5'3", but couldn't use most of the ear buds I had because the cord wasn't long enough. I also like that the headphones rotate to make them flat and easily storable/put away when not in use. I can easily leave them on our computer desk, still plugged in to the CPU and it doesn't look messy.

These headphones are definitely worth the money I spent!

By

from New York, NY

Comments about JVC - - Flat Stereo Headphones:

These headphones are awesome! I think I would prefer these over my Sony MDRV150 DJ Headphones! They are lightweight and so much cuter to carry around. My previous headphones were really bulky and the band snapped way too easily! I had to reattach it a few times with crazy glue--so NOT ideal. The JVC Flat Stereo Headphones, on the other hand do not pose such problems. They are easy on the ears. I have to wear glasses, so basic things like a headband would really bother me. The Sony headphones were basically like a headband that I could listen to music from. They would always leave me uncomfortable and unable to listen to my music with those headphones for long periods of time. What I found with the JVC headphones is that they are so lightweight that I almost always forget they are there! I have never experienced the annoying "sliding off" with these headphones either! Which is definitely a plus. All in all these headphones are comfortable and definitely worth the money you will spend.

JVC Flats headphones: functioanl & comfortable headphones

By

from Big Island, VA

Comments about JVC - - Flat Stereo Headphones:

**JVC Flats Stereo Headphones**

I have yet to get comfortable with "ear-buds" or to introduce the idea to my children.  Headphones however are a must around our house.  We use headphones for many applications at our house:

-playing educational computer games

-listening to books on CD or tape

-using a mini-recorder for violin lessons

-using [Story Reader ][1]

- an iPod

-watching movies on the computer

(-watching movies in Grandma's car on the DVD player since Mommy refuses to have one in her car)

Headphones mean that everyone can be busy in the same room together without interrupting each other.  Little brother can listen to the same book on tape like Arthur Babysits over and over without driving big sister crazy and big sister can listen to Foggy Mountain Breakdown over and over without driving all of us crazy.

With our lists of techno applications growing and our youngest child joining in on many techno adventures, we needed to add more headphones to the collection. We chose the JVC Flats Stereo Headphones.

**JVC Flats Stereo Headphones:**

-have a flat, foldable design for easier storage

(The ear pieces rotate 180 degrees so the headset can be "flat."

-have comfortable ear pads

-work with an iPod, iPhone or most any other electronics

- have a sturdy stainless steel headband

The JVC Flats stereo headphones comes in stainless, pink or blue.

The JVC Flats stereo headphones are both comfortable and functional.  They come in three colors so kids can easily identify their own. The fact that these headphones can be packed "flat" is a big bonus for families on the go.
