My wife and I were fixing up a room in the basement that would house our workout gear and be used as an occasional bedroom when company arrives. The basement can be damp, although we run a dehumidifier continuously and also circulate the A/C through this space. With the A/C and dehumidifier going, the humidity in the basement is normal.

Nothing about this room was particularly easy and we considered various types of flooring. We decided on a laminate flooring by Harmonics, similar in construction and appearance to Pergo brand flooring. Don't spend your money on this!!! TERRIBLE!! I bought this for my winter home in florida-- I thought it would be great as I have dogs, and I was tired of constant carpet cleaning and vaccuuming, and I wanted something modern. I put this down in the middle of May 2011, and went home a week later. I returned to Florida, my winter home, January 4th, 2012. The floor has been used EXACTLY ONE MONTH and it has puckered and bubbled up in several areas-- I accidently knocked over a glass of water, and didn't notice it for a hour or two, and when I wiped it up, 3 floor boards had buckled and puckered!!! I am a homeowner and now I have laminate flooring in every room of my house and it makes the rooms look larger and it is so easy to keep clean.  Everyone who comes to my house says that they would like to put that in their home or they say that they wished they had done that instead of the flooring that they picked.  I have had trouble with the floor in the kitchen because my contractor did not put the hoses to the dish washer back correctly and the water leaked for over twenty four hours.  The floor is puckered but he is going to pull out the bad flooring and replace it.  Otherwise the bathroom that I had done over eleven years ago is still beautiful.  If you h...

Harmonics Laminate Flooring from Costco is great!

The Harmonics Laminate flooring is very reasonably priced for its quality. It saves you time and money by having the pad attached. All you need to get started is the moisture barrier pad and the installalation kit which you call the company and order. They do guarantee atleast 5 business days before your order arrives to you. But I had a complication with the shipping taking so long, but it was taken care of by the manager on duty. She made my day by the way she was willing to help out!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone out there looking for laminate flooring to complete/remodel your home!

My husband and I install the snap together laminate flooring in our kitchen. He bought a video on how to install this type of flooring and watched it several time before, and during the installation just to make sure he was doing it right. It truly was so easy and looks professionally done. We had a few problems with some of the boards not fitting together properly. My husband just switched the board with a differand one and it fit.We liked it so well that we installed laminate flooring in our office.

• My new floor makes my whole kitchen look nicer. It has refreshed everything, just opened my kitchen up. When I walk into my kitchen I am so happy with the way it turned out. It is durable and does not scratch. The installer scrapped the floor with a knife and it didn't scratch. It cleans easy, just a damp mop. I saw the floor in my sons house and he has 5 children and a dog, it was so nice I had to have my own. I would recommend this floor to anyone, it is beautiful. Go get one you'll love it.

This is floor is great especially if you have a crawl space.

We installed a glueless floor in our kitchen. We like the fact that we don't have to

tear up the floor to get to the pipes under the floor. We have already had to take

it up to repair the pipes. It goes back into to place just as if nothing happened.
