This printer is great for pretty much everything. I've used it for 4 years now and it has worked tremendously and has kept up with all my needs for school. I print papers on a regular basis and it has printed probably, I would say, about 600-700 pages of paper. Although the ink runs out pretty quickly and I would recommend a laser printer for those of you who print a lot of black and white papers. However, school also requires me to do a lot of scanning and copying as well, and this printer does the job flawlessly. The scans and copies that I have done are very high quality.The application that HP designed to accompany this printer is phenomenal. It is very organized and easy to use. Another great feature of this printer is the LCD screen that is on the printer itself. It allows you to perform many things on the printer and not on the computer. Also it makes what you are doing very clear.
