I don't even know if they make this model anymore, but I have had my HP All-in-One printer for seven and a half years, and it has held up great.  A scanner, copier, and printer, it lasted me all through college and three years since.  I have since run into a few problems.  One is with the printer itself.  At this point, a lot of the images I scan end up with a heavy green tint.  I can't adjust this through the printer, so I don't think there is a fix.  It would be a bigger problem if I used the scanner more often.  The only other problem I had, which may have to do more with my old computer than with the printer, was that the printer wouldn't recognize commands sent from my computer.  I loaded, reloaded, and downloaded drivers, but anytime that I used the HP Command Center to scan, nothing would happen, and I would have to manually hit the button.  Not a huge inconvenience, but still a pain.  However, for having lasted me seven years, I can't complain.

This is the first printer that I owned. I was a good purchase for the price. The HP PSC 1210 xi provides multiple functions that make it very versatile. Anyone that will need to scan, print, or copy will find this machine very useful. After a very short amount of use, the controls are very easy to use. I have scanned many pictures that have come out looking very good. The copy function works good since it operates from the same flatbead as the scanner. The paper tray does not hold a large quantity of paper which can cause some problems. Anyone who will need to print, scan, or copy large quantities will not want this machine. It will simply cause unneccesary levels of frustration if an individual tries to use if for these purposes. The hinge on the back of the lid can be a litte bit of an issue. If you are not careful it could be easily broken making the lid a problem when closing. Overall, a good printer for a beginning user.

     THE HP PSC IS ONE THE GREATEST PIECES OF ITEM TO OWN TO HAVE CONNECTED TO YOUR COMPUTER,  IT MAKES LIFE SO EASY. I NEVER THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD BE USED AS MUCH AS IT IS.  I USE IT SO MUCH THAT IF TI BROKE DOWN I T WOULD BE LOST.      THE MORE I USE IT, THE MORE USES I SEEM TO FIND FOR IT, IT IS ALWAYS HANDY TO HAVE WHEN I NEED A COPY OF SOMETHING RAEL QUICK.  NO MATTER WHAT IT MAY BE.     IT IS ALWAYS RIGHT THERE WHEN I NEED A COPY OF ANY THING, OR TO SCAN SOMETHING, THAT I WILL NEED IN THE FUTURE.  IT IS A GREAT WAY TO HAVE A BACKUP WHEN I NEED INFORMATION ON HAND  AND IN AN INSTANT.    I NEVER THOUGHT LIFE COULD BE SO EASY, TILL I GOT MY HP PSC 1210.  NOW THAT I GOT IT I COULDN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT. I've had this printer for awhile and Im not crazy for it. First of all it takes up alot of space, and is very bulky. It also uses a ton of ink and the ink refills are expensive. The biggest issue I have with it though is that it eats paper, if you put more than a couple of sheets in the feeder at once it sucks them all in and gets itself jamed, then you have to clear the jam, reset the print, and it is a hassel. It does have some nice features though, the scanner is a nice quality and I've never had any issue with the copier. It is pretty quick and prints well for a desk top copier, I just don't use that feature much. I do alot of printing and something that is easier on ink, and could be loaded with paper and then walked away from would be much better for me. For light use, or if the scanner and copier are more the features you are looking for this would be a great investment. But if you are looking for a great printer, look elsewhere.

Hp psc1210 is one of the best i have seen from HP in a long time. Its light weight also and i can use it anywhere and even with my laptop or the desktop computer, The color is awesome specially with the photos and fits my business needs . I'm proud to own this All-In-One Printer-Scanner-Copier. As a business owner it is necessary to perform all sorts of administrative things at a moments notice. I have been very fortunate to have this printer available to help me " Get The Job Done " ! It has not failed me yet....and its been in use for 2 years.  Wow...Its beyond what i expected because of the cost. And to maintain it is affordable and everything i need to keep it in tip top shape is available at my local store. All i can say is....." Its Awesome " ! I would recommend this item to all my friends and business partners. Its well worth the cost and the quality is beyond reproach. My choice for every administrative task would be my psc 1210.

I really like this printer. It may not be top of the line but its a good printer. It does what its supposed to. I got this printer free with the purchase of my laptop. Its been a great deal for me. It has all the features that I need. It copies, it prints, and it scans. It scans really well. It prints well in both black and white and color. Scanning does not take long at all. The quality of the scanning is great. I have scanned lots of different things on this printer. I scan pictures and documents. I also like the fact that I can scan or copy documents in either black and white or color. It saves a lot on ink when I make my copies in black and white. It does really well on ink. You can also put any brand of ink in this printer. It does not require a specific breand of ink just specific numbers which you can pick up anywhere such as wal mart or any office supply store. Th e only thing I wish this printer had is memory card capabilities, but its an older model printer. This printer is really easy to hook up to your computer and the cords that go with it are easy to hook up as well. This printer has held up very well. It has gotten me through 4 years of college and I havent had a single problem with it. I would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a good, cheap basic, all in one printer.

i have had my printer for ever.  i got in about six years ago, back when i was extremely irresponisble (college student).  i used to go through electronic products like candy.  i used to never take good care of them, but this printer somehow managed to outlast my stupidity into adulthood where i am now starting to take care of stuff.  i love it and am really glad that that's the printer that i have chosen.  i was always the one thtat people went to when they wanted something copied and right now I am scanning recipes out of library books and it is still working perfectly.  it is easy to hook up and is also extremely easy to use.  and the features are great on it.  the only problem i have is the ink is a little pricy, but they do have the refills which i am a big fan of and it does last a very long time.  as more and more printers are coming out, i enjoy the simplicity of this one.  my dad has an all in one and we're both confused on how to use it.  all in all this is a great printer.

Talk about a rip-off.  HP is obviously figuring that people who own their printers and used to love them will go out and buy new ones when they get new computers using the Vista system.  I bought this HP PSC all-in-one printer for several reasons, but one of the primary ones is the fact that it scanned and used a great OCR software package.  You could scan almost any printed information and turn it into a Word document using the OCR option.  It worked like a dream.  But then I bought a new computer and it came with the Vista operating system.  All of a sudden, no scanning option.  No OCR option.  So I went onto the HP website to find a patch or some other download that would allow me to use the machine's application which I had paid for.  Know what HP told me?  If I want to scan, I have to use Paint.  Excuse me?  Paint???  I now get a picture (bitmap or jpeg) of whatever I'm scanning instead of having the option to get a document using OCR.  I emailed and asked what was going on and was told that it wasn't HP's problem, it was the problem of the compay that manufactured the OCR software.  HP is doing NOTHING to solve the problem.  I'll never buy another one of their products again.

I have had my hp psc 1210 for approximately six (6) years.  It has help up well for those six (6) years.  In the past  I have had a home business for about  three (3) years. All of my promortional materials, advertising fliers, and forms  were printed, scanned, and copied  using this printer / scanner / copier combination.  The pictures copied crisp and sharp with true color reproduction.  I am now using it to scan all of my old photo's to e-mail to family and to upload into my ancestry.com family tree. The ink cartridges are economical and easy to find to replace. This has been the best scanner, copier and printer I have ever owned! I am completely satisfied with this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a printer.   It is very user friendly product with a great on-line technical support and trouble shooting option and staff.  Thumbs up to Hewlett Packard for a truely great product

I love this printer, I have had it since it first came out! I have never had any issues with this printer, It works the same as the day I bought it! I use to run a business from my home and this  printer, did my labels and designs with no problem at all. I also use it to print photos, it does a great job for being an older printer!.
