These headphones create great sound and look pretty stylish. I have a few bones to pick with them though, they are not comfortable at all, and the earpads that come with them are junk. The little leather piece to hold the headphones on your head is not comfortable at all either. If you are going to wear these you better not be worried about how your head feels after a few minutes.

Don't let the expensive price keep you from these as the sound quality is one of the best for the price and they will last you for years. Highly recommended for all users. Sound Quality Definitely the best for the price Comfort I have an large head and they fit just fine and can easily be adjusted Durability had for over a year and are still in mint condition

The grado sr80 were my first audiophile headphones and I was blown away after letting them burn in for a period of 30 hrs. They are very detailed and produce amazing bass. I was not a believer of audiophile headphones and always thought they were too expensive, but after listening to these I was converted. You experience sounds you never heard before in some of your favorite songs and you just can't take them off your ears. Many people used to complain about the comfort of the grados when the sr80s used to come with bowl pads, but the upgrade to flat pads makes them way more comfortable. They are an excellent pair of entry level grados, perhaps the best for the money. Once you get a taste of these, you won't be disappointed.
