Many people do not think much when it comes trash bags. I live in an apartment complex where there is only one dumpster so I need strong odor control while I'm waiting for the day that they empty the dumpster. I've tried many difference brands but I always come back to Glad Odor Shield with Febreze Tall Kitchen Drawstring Bags. They really do cover up strong smells and unlike other bags that odor seeps through very quickly, I get at least 3 days after I tie a bag up before I notice anything funky. I also have a very small bathroom where I use these in my waste basket just to keep the air fresh as they also work great as an air freshener for small spaces. I tried many of the scents but I prefer the Lemon Febreze. The Fresh Scent and Lavender Breeze smells too much like other trash bags but the lemon does not remind me of a trash bag scent at all at. So I always buy Lemon. For having great odor control these bags also are pretty strong plastic wise. I seldom have a bag break or develop holes in them. Yes, they are little pricey but for the odor control and plastic strength they are really worth it.

These bags are absolutely amazing. You open up the package and they really do smell like Febreze. The scent lasts a couple of days and then fades away which was kind of disappointing. I love that every time I replace my trash bag there is an amazing scent in my kitchen. They also hold up really well. I haven't had problems with the bag leaking or breaking.

I love the Glad Odor Shield with Febreze Tall Kitchen Drawstring Bags. They smell great. Sometimes I forget that it's the bag that smells so good when I go to replace my kitchen garbage with a new bag. The scent is fresh and noticeable, but not so strong as to be overwhelming. I decided to pay a bit more for these as compared to regular tall kitchen bags because sometimes my kitchen garbage is pretty stinky. The odor shield helps to eliminate yucky smells from old food or whatever else I happen to have tossed out. They also make it a little less gross when I have to change the kitchen garbage and replace the full bag with a fresh one because the febreze smell covers up even old onion and garlic odor. They are relatively sturdy, but not particularly big. I use a stainless steel receptor that fits under the kitchen sink, so I'm not sure what the full capacity of these bags is. I like that I can tie the drawstring shut before I place the full bag in the garage before garbage day.

I would totally recommend these trash bags. They really do block the odor of your trash. So they really do what they say they do. I will continue using this brand of trash bags. Don't ever change them!!

I had a very good coupon for these Glad trash bags so I purchased the ones with the fresh vanilla scent. How strong can that smell be? Apparently, very!! When I opened the box, the smell hit me in the face. I am not much on smells anyway, so this one proves to be a bit overpowering. Still, I would rather smell this smell than trash. There are 40 bags in this box of trash bags. They fit a 13 gallon container. They have a drawstring. I really like the drawstrings. I can cinch the trash up better and discard it with the help of these strings. I appreciate the fact that Glad is continually trying to come up with ways to make a smelly situation somewhat better. The bags are strong though not as strong as force-flex but they will accomplish what I need them for. I have 40 usages to get used to this smell and I am hoping by the time I am down to that last bag, the smell won't bother me at all. I recommend the Glad name.

I received a free sample of Glad Odor Shield with Febreze Tall Kitchen Drawstring Bags and was really looking forward to seeing if it could help with the smell of baby diapers in the trash. I'm happy to report that it made a drastic difference! With my first son, we had a diaper pail. The pail broke three years ago and we just never bought a new one for our new baby, so we've been throwing dirty diapers away in the regular kitchen trash can. We usually throw out the trash at the first sign of stink - whether the trash can is full or not. My sample was of the Fresh Clean scent and I really like it. The scent is subtle and not overpowering at all. I assumed there would still be *some *stink, but there wasn't! My sample bag didn't tear or break as I lifted it out of the trash can, which is nice since it was really full. This trash bag is not only strong and sturdy, but totally neutralized baby diaper stink. I'm sold!

Other than the fact that these *can* tear if you overstuff them, I love these bags. They have Febreze which is what drew me to them in the first place and I haven't been disappointed. I have even gotten compliments on the scent! When is the last time someone complimented the scent of your garbage can?! I never worry if I put something really stinky in the garbage, because it's always neutralized. With other bags, we often would have to throw out a half full bag- what a waste. The other thing is that the drawstring doesn't pull away from the bag. Go the the Glad.com site and they often have coupons available.

Of course like any persons kitchen you always need a good garbage bag. In the past, i use to try to the cheap route and get the market named brand kicthen garbage bag, but one day i actually decided to get smart and stop being so cheap and i picked up this great kitchen product. These bags are very strong, i'm the type of person who likes to push down the garbage until it cannot be pushed anymore. my old garbage bags would rip and id have nasty garbage all over, with these i never had that problem. They are very durible and with stand alot of pressure which is awesome. The best part about this bag thought is the added scent, febreze odor shield is a great added plus because when you have company over it hides the smell and has your kitchen smelling fresh and clean. The price when compared to the no name brands might be a little bit more then the average person is willing to spend but i would have to recommend shelling out that extra two bucks because these bags are worth it.

I bought these bags instead of the off-brand since with my coupon they came out to the same price.  I am very happy with these bags and don't see myself going back to regular trash bags any time soon.  I'm a single person so I'm the only one in the home making trash.  I don't fill up a regular-sized or even "grocery bag"-sized trash bag very often, so I found myself taking unnecessary trips to the dumpster with teeny half-filled bags so that my kitchen trash didn't smell up all the front rooms in my home.  These Glad Odor Shield bags allow me to put my kitchen trash in them with no problem so that I can take the bags to the dumpster only when they are full.  This is saving me time and money as well as helping to reduce the amount of plastic I'm using.  Funnily enough, they have helped me be more eco-friendly. Since I've started using the Odor Shield bags, I haven't come home to a smelly kitchen as a result of not having time to take a bag down to the dumpster before work that morning.  I can't say that these bags are better than other similar bags, since these are the only odor-control bags I've tried, but I can confirm that these bags are **much** better than regular trash bags so you should try them if you are looking for something to keep the odor out of your home.
