I don't have too many complaints about the GE refridgertor besides the fact the water dispenser sometimes will randomly not work and even though the sizes vary I find the freezer side can be a little too small for storing freezer items so you end up spending some time trying to pack the freezer side just right so the door will close completely. Other than those complaints are refridgerator has never failed us since we bought it. It works well and does what it is supposed to do. The temperatures coincide with what we expect as well. The doors close well and dont stick or not close completely like some refridgerators do. It may not be stainless steel but I love being able to post pictures/magnets on the front of the refridgerator!

They refrigerators come in different sizes and you really have to pay attention to that. It is hard to judge but make sure that you take good measurements and ask at the store. I bought one that was too small and there is hardly any room to put anything in the freezer. I can't buy extra things because of this issue. I think in general, appliance makers are cutting corners because they want to save themselves money or just make money off the consumers. It is unfair what is happening and stardards are slipping way below a good level. We all have to be careful. Make sure that you check out ever detall of this refrigerator and the little extras that come with it. They sure do not make things like they used to!

I generally love this refridgerator, but we seem to keep running into small things breaking down that we continuously need to fix. Although none of them are currently a problem, we've had issues with the ice dispenser breaking multiple times, the temperature adjustments failing, and wiring connections leaving the fridge without even temperature control and lights. I guess the good news is that all of them have been fixed. The bad news is that we had to bother with them in the first place. Additionally, the configuration of the freezer is not very convenient for freezing large amounts of bulk foods. I like to make large quantities so I can freeze them for later in ziplock bags, and there never seems to be enough space for them. If, on the other hand, you mostly freeze small rectangular containers (such as tv dinners), this freezer would be perfect for you. The actual fridge side I have no complaints about, it's roomy and very convenient.

My absolute favorite thing that I love about our GE side by side refridgerator is the water dispenser! Be for we bought this refridgerator we had to buy our drinking water because the water out of our faucet tasted really bad. Now, the filtered that is produced by our GE refridgerator is better than any we can buy at the store. The filter is easy to replace and costs much less than what we were paying for bottled water. As for the rest of the features, I like that I can put a tall glass under the water and ice dispenser. The ice maker sometimes gets clogged up (like any ice maker I guess), but it is a simple matter of opening the freezer door and shaking the ice draw to free it up. We have ample freezer space for our family of three. The cold side has two drawers and adjustable glass shelves. Very nice. The door has adjustable shelves that will hold a one-gallon milk carton and two-liter bottles of soda. This refridgerator has survived two moves without a hitch.
