Our reviewers had mixed emotions when it came to Earthlink’s VOIP service. Let’s look at the positives first, according to one reviewer, Earthling offers “free long distance, voice mail, caller ID, Free call blocking, free online voice mail and more”. On top of that, some reviewers report that they can’t tell the difference between talking on a landline and over the Earthlink VOIP service. Where Earthlink fails, say our reviewers, is in the customer service department, which apparently is outsourced to the Philippines.
