I use mostly all natural products because I'm allergic to so many things but decided to try EOS Shave Cream. I'm on my fourth bottle and here are my thoughts and findings. Shaving 'dry' is much more earth friendly since you aren't running a sink or shower and this product delivers on that. It sticks to skin and isn't runny and the razor glides on skin. When shaving in the shower I find I need to use much more cream so the bottle doesn't last as long for me. The bottle's pump tube does not reach all the way to the bottom of the bottle so I have to fish out the cream when the product is low. I find I have to spend extra time rinsing the razor since the cream really sticks on it. The smell is awesome - nothing like it on the market!!! I found when using this on my armpits the hair grows back at a much slower pace. Overall because the bottle doesn't last long I will probably go back to other all natural shave products.

I was excited to have a widely available paraben free and phthalate free shaving product out there, but I don't love Eos.  The smell is lovely, and obviously it has a potential health benefit to avoid certain chemicals.  I also think it was fairly moisturizing, at least moreso than regular shaving cream products.  But it is extremely expensive for shaving cream, for goodness sakes!  Also, the pump was annoying if your can is not on the ledge (as in, it's on a suspended shelf system in the shower-- you'd break the shelves pressing it).  It seemed to rinse off my legs a bit to easily with the shower splatter.  It also left a sticky, gummy residue in between the blades of the razor that just would not rinse out-- it seemed to just stick and clog the razor.  The texture was a bit funny, but I didn't mind that when all was said and done-- only that it was so expensive and gummy in the razor, that it doesn't seem to go on sale, and there are hardly ever coupons for it.

The EOS shave cream ultra moisturizing shave cream in lavender jasmine scent is a luxurious shaving product. It has very nice packaging- all plastic but it is a softer-more fun to hold-type of plastic that is very easy to grab in the shower. The shave cream smells great, but not as good as some of the other EOS shave creams. This one definitely  isn't my favorite, but if you like Jasmine and lavender then go for it. The shave cream is very smooth and is already in a cream form. You don't have to rub it in your hands to make it turn from a gel to a cream so it is unique in that sense from many other shaving products that start out as gels. The cream is very moisturizing, but I still like to use a lotion after I am done shaving. I can get a close shave, but I don't feel like it is really any better than I would typically get from your big brands of shaving cream. You can shave wet or dry which is nice.

I suffer with psoriasis. It has made shaving my legs nearly impossible. No matter what I use, I always nick myself which makes my psoriasis worse. My mother sent off for a free sample of EOS, Evolution of Smooth shave cream and let me try it. Let me just say, it has made it possible for me to shave my legs again. That's huge!! It smells incredible, and it feels soft and smooth. You don't have to use much, and it's not expensive. You can order right from their web site and shipping is next to nothing. Okay, here's the best part. You can shave wet or dry and you don't have to wash it off. It feels like a good mosturizing lotion. No hair is left behind when you are finished and it's so smooth. I love this stuff. I ordered some and gave with all my Christmas gifts because I wanted everyone to try it for themselves. Have you ever got out of the shower and realized you forgot to shave your arm pits, (TMI?), well go right ahead. No need to rinse and no razor burn. AWESOME!!! They have all kinds of great scents to choose from as well as unscented, which my husband likes to use. They also have really great lip balm, but that's for another review. This would be excellent for young girls just starting to shave as it smooths on and makes it easier to shave. Yes, you can nick yourself using this product, but not as easy as other products I've used. This is a must have in my opinion. LOVE IT!!!

I received a sample of EOS shave cream in the mail and I finally got around to trying it.  I normally just use soap to shave my legs, but lately I have been using skintimates because I got a great deal on it.  EOS is far superior to both methods!  I cant comment on how it dispenses because mine came out of a sample pack, but I loved the light and airy texture of it.  It wasnt gloppy at all and dissolved quickly and copmletely in the water, unlike another brand that leaves a gloppy mess all over the shower floor.  And it left my legs feeling so soft and smooth, better that anything i have used before!  I do still consider shaivng cream for women to be a little frivlous, but I will definately use this product in the summer and for special occasions- and I will not buy another brand again

I tried this product recently, and at first I wasn't sure if I liked it. I am accustomed to using your average shaving gel that has a nice, thick foam, so I wasn't sure if I liked the thin, lotion-like texture of the EOS product.  However, it has kind of grown on me (no pun intended).  Although, the change in texture took some getting used to, I can see the advantages of this product.  It is definitely good for wet or dry shaving because it is not as messy as shaving creams and gel and doen't need to be rinsed off.  It also does seem to give a little smoother shave and it leaves skin a bit softer.  I am also liking the fragrance a little better.  At first, I thought it smelled more like grape jame than jasmine lavender, but the scent too, has become something I enjoy. One drawback is that it seems to gum up the razor blades leaving a sticking residue on the razon which is a little hard to clean off. I'm not sure if this product will ultimately replace my normal shaving gel in the shower, but I would definitely recommend it for dry shaving.

I got a sample of the raspberry version in the mail and after one shave, I was left wanting more!  I hadn't seen any locally, but when two coupons for this product came my way, I went to their website and found a store in my area that did carry it.  In the last year I have been trying to find products that are more natural and that actually work.  With all of the parabens & phatalates in most cosmetics, it is hard to find good products sometimes.  I do not care for overpowering smells, so I am not a huge fan of some of the other shaving creams on the market. I love the Lavender & Jasmine scent, it is really nice, but not overpowering.  If you are hunting for products that are free of parabens, please note that the following EOS shaving cream scents are the only ones that are paraben-free:  pomegranate raspberry, vanilla bliss, lavendar jasmine and cucumber aloe (per EOS's website). I love the pump function on the bottle, which dispenses the lotion like shaving cream.  It does not foam, but goes on very smoothly and aids in a super close shave leaving my legs soft and silky.  Though I have not tried a dry shave, EOS claims that you can shave wet or dry.  Great for someone looking for the option to dry shave. The bottle is plastic which is great for two reasons...it doesn't rust and it is recyclable. If your looking for a great shaving cream or would love to try something new, this product is wonderful and I highly recommend it!
