Is that a ball in your pocket??

3

This is the the lip balm that stays on my end table beside my sofa. I do like it quite a bit, but....the package, though unique, is not very "hideable". Being one who takes lip balm everywhere, I always stick a tube in my pocket because I want it to be easily accessible. This little ball of minty balm cannot easily go unnoticed in your pocket. Therefore, I have to give it a 3 out of 5 stars. If I could hide it away, it would be a 5 all the way!!

EOS Lemon Drop Lip Balm smells like lemon peels

I am a lip balm junkie who pretty much buys everything if interesting enough.  I also love trying to incorporate more natural products so EOS pretty much fits this to a T.  It comes in a darling little package that looks like an adorable little, yellow egg sitting on my desk.  Also, if you have issues finding your lip balm in your bags it's unique round egg shape makes it very easy to throw in a bag and still be able to find it blindly.  Not only that but it comes in attractive bright yellow that makes it very spottable at the bottom of a bag.  Product design aside, this product works really well at moisturizing.  The scent is spot on being lemons which is lovely since it is not overpowering and really reminds me of another lemon product by Burt's Bees.  Also, bonus like Burt's Bees EOS prides themselves with being organic and natural so this works great for those wanting to forego harsh chemically based products so PABA free. This lip balm is also I believe (I haven't been able to find their tube lip balm yet) of the egg shaped balms to have SPF 15 which is very nice for people conscious of using balms with SPF.  The ingredients for the sunscreen is octinoxate and oxybenzone for those curious. Overall amazing lip product that does the job of moisturizing and the scent is spot on that really makes me love applying it for a fresh scent of lemons.  It smooths on very easily with it's unique half circle round balm shape. So If you are a lip junkie than this would be a great buy.

lemony without being sickly sweet

Normally I don't like fruit-scented products because they smell or taste artificial and childish. The lemon EOS sphere was not like that. It smelled like lemon, not lemon flavored koolaid, and had a slight bitter aftertaste that wasn't bad - it was like lemon peel or lemon oil. I would buy this flavor in a traditional stick form. The texture was very nice, not as soft as blistex creme, not waxy like chapsticks. It was buttery smooth, and felt like it made a real difference in my lips instead of just sitting on top of chapped lips. The packaging is fun because it's different, but honestly it's not practical. It doesn't fit in a pocket so it's more practical to still carry something in your pocket, and maybe keep on of these in one or each location where you spend some time (at home, in the car, at work). The other concern about the packaging is that it doesn't seem environmentally friendly - it's an awful lot of plastic. The ratio of packaging to product is not good. Sure we can recycle, but that still takes more energy than just using less material to start with. If I were just rating the product I'd give it 5 stars, but I'm giving 4 because of the packaging issues.
