I've been using Dove deodorant (Energizing scent) for a couple of years. I really like the scent. It is not overwhelming, but just right. Application is smooth and my under arms don't get irritated. The stick lasts a long time, too. I don't think that the deodorant works as many hours as I would expect, but overall, it is my favorite deodorant.

Usually, I am really, totally thrilled with every Dove product I try - they always smell great, work well, and are economical. However, in this case, I am extremely displeased with the Dove Ultimate Go Fresh Deoderant/Antiperspirant in Nectarine and Ginger Burst. There are some positives to this deosderant: It has two out of the three things I usually find in Dove products - it does indeed smell fantastic and I bought it for a really good price. It also does what it says on the package - it does stay on your underarm, and does not rub off onto your clothes. But it failed where it counts the most - it DOES NOT WORK! I am not normally a very sweaty or smelly individual. I have always used (and not smelled) with normal deoderant, but with this product I was having to apply and reapply throughout the day to avoid body odor! And this is the middle of winter - imagine if it was summer. So, unfortunately, I am going to have to say do not buy this product; it does not work.

I'm a nut for getting things on sale. If there's a sale/coupon I will buy it. Dove was one of those items. It was super cheap with the coupon, and I love to try new things. I gave Dove Ultimate Go Fresh Energizing a whirl. It had a nice citrus scent, which I like. (I hate the baby powder scents). I went to work running around all day, and came home to no odor, and it kept me dry which was amazing. I didn't expect it to do that, especially since I sweat pretty easily. I was impressed. Just like the motto "stays on skin, not on clothes", it definitely lived up to those expectations. I would probably give the other scents in this collection a try as well, seeing as I am very pleased with this one. I never have to reapply this throughout the day, which for other deodorants in the past I had to. I especially like that Dove has coupons available every once in awhile making this a pretty sweet deal that I can't pass up.

There are a lot of things that I did like about this deodorant.  It has an awesome scent to it.  This one is grapefruit and lemongrass so it is completely different than any other deodorant scent that I've used before.  I also liked how nicely this applied to the skin.  It didn't get on my clothes at all and it didn't leave large cakey clumps of deodorant in places when it was applied.  For down sides, while I felt like the anti-persperiant part was keeping me from sweating, I couldn't stand the way I smelled at the end of the day.  I don't think the smell was noticable to anyone else but if I wore a tanktop to bed at night I really felt like I smelled awful in my armpit area.  During the day I didn't notice smelling bad unless I was in a situation where I did end up sweating a lot but at night it was terrible.  I also didn't like the cover on the bottle.  It was really hard to get off for some reason and I ended up dropping the bottle a lot trying to get it off.

I absolutely love this deodorant.  I would say I'm average when it comes to sweating but still find most deodorants just don't hold up until the end of the day.  This deodorant has a very pleasant (not overpowering) scent and it always keeps me dry.  I've applied it to dark fabrics just to test the claims and there is no residue.  For once I don't have to resort to using my husband's anti-perspirant.  Dove lives up to its promises and is one of the few brands which I am very loyal to.  I also like that there are a variety of scents and they are all fresh and clean.  This product does not cake - it feels invisible - and I can wear it with confidence.  I've tried so many different brands throughout the years and figured they could only deliver so much but this one exceeds the hype which is unusual anymore.  I'm proud to recommend it to my friends.  The Dove line (soaps, shampoo, conditioner) just keeps getting better and it's great that I can now include their deodorant in my cupboard full of "finds"!

My underarms perspire no matter what deoderant I use. I was not Doves Ultimate Go Fresh stick to help me stay dry; but instead to not dry out my under arms and smell good at the same time. It does that. But I feel after 2 months of use my body gets used to it and it doesn't have the same effect after that. The grapefruit and emon grass scent is nice and smells fresh. I have also used the cool essentials and that one is nice too. It is nice how you can find body washes to match the deoderants(same scent). I do not like how the plastic container was designed, mainly the lid portion. The lid is so thin and tight fitting that it is so easy to clip the deoderant when you put the lid back on. I hate when that happens. It is an exact fit over the deoderant portion and if you accidently put it on lopsided you have deoderant pieces in your lid that fall out when you open it the next time. On the stick it advertises 'stays on skin not on clothes' I agree with that.

I have always had a problem with excessive perspiration and have found Dove's deodorant products to be the most efficient at combating the problem. For several years I used Dove's Powder Fresh deodorant and was very happy with the results. On a whim, I decided to try Dove's new line of Go Fresh Deodorants and I chose the Engergizing scent. I tried the my new deodorant the same day and applied the product before I went to work. I was very pleased with how smoothly the product went on to my skin and how nice the scent was - it was a little citrusy and very clean (this is probably why it is considered "energizing"). I worked a ten hour shift and had several customers ask me what perfume I was wearing! They couldn't believe it was in fact my deodorant they were smelling. By the end of the shift, my underarms were just as dry as when I originally applied the product and the scent was definitely still there. Overall, this is an excellent product and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I am on always on the hunt for a deodorant that works well for me as far as odor protection goes. So I saw Dove Ultimate Go Fresh Energizing Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant on sale and figured I'd give it a try. I've always considered Dove as a company that makes pretty decent products. However, their deodorant, unfortunately, fell way short. I must say that it did seem to give me the wetness protection I needed, although that's usually never an issue for me. As far as odor protection goes... well let's just say it doesn't go far! Upon initial application of this deodorant, it smells pretty good, but after a couple of hours you begin "smelling yourself" in a bad way. The fragrance almost seems to get stronger once your body odor begins to become an issue and so basically it ends up smelling like B.O. with a failing attempt to cover up with strong fragrance... quickly! Needless to say, I will never buy Dove deodorant again. Who wants to feel disgusting?
