As a single person, I usually don't need much space on the grill - after all, I'm cooking for one. So I got a small, cheap grill just out of college, but cheap grills also come with thing wire grates. After losing more hamburgers through the grate than I care to count, I received this grill as a birthday present. What I like most about this grill are the substantial grates - no more wasted food! - and the wide "counters" on either side of the grill to set the serving platter, tongs, etc. There is a burner on one side, but I haven't tried using it yet. As mentioned in other reviews, the grill is pretty heavy to move, but just moving it a bit on a patio is pretty easy to do. The grill starts easily, and the thermometer on the lid helps you to keep an eye on your food without having to open the lid every few minutes. The grill surface is large, and I've been able to turn on just one burner to cook dinner for myself or all three and host a cookout. It does tend to run pretty hot, so keep your burner(s) on low the first few times you use it until you get a feel for how it heats. This is the second summer I've had this grill, and it's holding up really well. I do have a heavy Weber grill cover to protect it from the weather, but the grill is so solid that it survived a derecho storm last summer and isn't any worse for the wear. I love it!

My husband graduated from college last summer. We had a charcoal grill when we first got married, but it had long since rusted through. So after a lot of research and advice from friends and family I purchased this Char-Broil grill for him. We absolutely love it! We grilled everyday during the summer. It was so nice to spend time outdoors together. I really liked that we could cook for two people without feeling like we were wasting a ton of charcoal like on our first grill. And we did not have to put much thought into it. We could just go out turn it on and throw on the food without waiting for the coals to get hot. It also worked great when we had several large get togethers with over twenty people. We were able to grill all of the food we needed to quickly and then sit around and enjoy our company. I do miss the charcoal taste of the food, but the convenience is wonderful. This one is a bit heavy and hard to move, we have moved two times since we bought it.

Ive never actually boughten one of these, but I can clearly see that it has a lot of potential. It's really nicely planned out and designed, but the taste of the burgers and the grilling doesn't crack up to what I had in mind. Yes, im an avid hamburger lover, but this? Eh, it's alright. It's not that the burgers are bad, its just that when I eat them, they just don't taste like a regular burger should. And yes, I've tried with flavoring and no flavoring, and they still taste pretty bad. I feel like I've wasted some money, or maybe I'm just a terrible cook, but this just doesn;t meet my standards. I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone, unless your on a tight budget and have no idea about grills. Char-broil isn;t my thing now a days. Anyways, Im pretty sure home depot or lowes would carry some of these, I ordered mine online. So yeah, thats my review, not the best grill you can get, not really worth it.

This is one of the best investments for a back yard grill master. It has a very even cooking surface great ajustable temperture control. One of the only problems i have seen is the grates they don't last very long. But this a problem i have seen with a lot of gas grills. This grill is very easy to move around. This model is especially good for burgers , steaks, ribs. Does not work well with chicken it tends to flame up but this a problem with all gas grills. My suggestion is to cover the grates with heavy duty foil. The char-broil 463454005 propane grill has easy access to the propane tank which will make for easy refills. Once you try this you will see that your money is very well spent. Don't know of any other grill that I would recommend. Just check it out for yourself.  Go down to your local dealer and check it out for your self you want be sorry. Thanks to char-broil company for a great grill. This is a very nice grill model. I'm not an expert in grilling or barbecue by any means, but I was using a cheeap charcoal grill before I got this. The difference between the two is night and day. While there were often burnt or dry pieces of meat from the charcoal grill or pieces of meat that needed to be microwaved again since they were undercooked this grill has not had that problem. The meat I've grilled has always been cooked very evenly and have been some of the most moist and tender pieces of beef I've ever eaten. I've cooked chicken, shrimp, beef, and pork on this grill and they have all been excellent. I've also done vegetables such as corn, celery, onions, pepper, etc... and they have also been pretty good. The side cooker is a nice touch, but I've honestly never bothered using it. Setting up the machine in the beginning is a bit difficult, but I got it going after a few hours. The propane tank lasts quite a while since I'm still on the first tank. Otherwise great grill.

My husband an I grill a great deal. Five out of seven days of the week we grill, so needless to say we go through a lot of grills, propane, and meat. I research products extensively before purchase, and found that the Char-Broil brand seems to be the most economical investment.  The grill contains an external thermometer that works very well and is extremely accurate, which is handy for temperature sensitive meets such as pork and poultry. The inner heat shield on the lid prevents excessive heat from escaping and creating a "burn potential" surface on the lid. The heat shield also helps maintain a constant temperature inside the grill making the use of propane more efficient. The ignitor is quick and the grill heats up quickly, which again helps conserve propane. All the meats we cook turn out evenly cooked throughout without burn spots. I haven't found a single burner that creates a hot spot. Cleaning the grill is a sinch and the replacement parts are economical as well. This has been by far the best grill for the money that we have found so far, and when it is time to replace this grill we will be purchasing another Char-Broil. Five stars!!!

We received our grill as a gift since our old one had started on fire!  We love to grill, we grill in all sorts of weather!  During the summer, we pretty much grill 5 times a week and have a few barbeques for friends.  This grill has performed very well through the many uses.  We do try and keep a cover on it during the winter months but it's been rained on, hailed on and all sorts of other inclement weather.  The tent on the bottom wore out so we had to replace it.  It was very easy to look up our model on line, look up the part and order it.  We received it in the mail and it was easy to install ourselves.  It looks nice on our deck and the stainless steel has held well.  We don't use the warmer on the side though.  I'm not sure about the cost versus value of the product since we didn't purchase it ourselves.  But it definitely lasted much longer than our last grill and we would purchase another one if this one where to no longer work.

I have been using this grill for a while and I love how it has all the room to cook for more than just one or two people. You can have a party or barbeque at your house and it cooks everything at once.It cooks everything evenly and wonderfully. I love that it has the self igniter which makes it very easy for me to light the grill. I love that is has wheels so that you can easily move it around, I do not have a patio or deck so I have to move mine around and it makes it easy to do that. The griddle on the model makes it incredible to do anything that you want all at the same time.I would definetly recommend this grill for anybody that also likes to cook all year round like we do, and you dont want to have to deal with a charcoal grill when its 20 degress outside.The cast iron grills on the it make it easy to wash and cleanup without having a dirty all the time. If leaving outside I would just make sure you put a cover on it so it does not get dirty through the winter months.

I purchased this grill and I love it. It is also backed by a great warranty!! I had a problem with one of the burners after a while, and I called and they sent me new one for FREE!!! It has a lifetime warranty on all burners, dials, handels, ect. It is one of the best grills I have ever owned. It cooks food to perfection. The side burner for keeping or cooking something in a pot or pan is a great feature to have, right by your side when your cooking on the fabulose four burner grill. The four burners let you cook different types of food simultanious as you can adjust each one for a different temerature, for each different type of food your cooking. I love to cook outdoors, it keeps my kitchen clean and keeps my house free from odors, smoke and any grease from cooking. Living in a warm climate area of the country, I use my grill at least three or four times a week. I ca even get my husband to help with the cooking. He likes the easiness of using our grill as much as I do.

We've had our Char Broil grill for almost 2 years now.  It gets used year round at our house, even in snow storms.  Our growing family finds this grill to be the perfect size to cook an entire meal.  We grill meats, veggies, and potatoes at the same time, with plenty of room for everything and enough burners to have different settings for the different foods.  This wonderful grill has cooked succulent ribs as well as the standard fare of burgers, hot dogs and chicken.  The wide grates prevent foods from falling into the flames.  They are really holding up well  for the amount of use this grill gets and the non-stick finish has held up to vigorous scrubbing.  It's very easy to light  with the electronic ignition.  The burners are still intact after 2 years, unlike many other grills we have purchased.  My husband personally love the blue finish on his grill.  It looks like the day we brought this grill home.   We would definitely buy another Charbroil Grill to replace this grill when the time comes.   Getting the grill home was a bit of a challenge in a smallish SUV.  We decided to purchase an unassembled model.  My husband wished later he'd found a way to purchase an assembled one.  The assembly as trickier than expected.  The instructions were vague in places and things had to be redone.
