I got my cat genie a little over 4 months ago. I have 2 cats,and it has been more than worth the investment. my kitties love using it, they got used to the change within the first day and one cat was using it already the first night. It is almost completely hands free. I found that since my 2 cats shed quite a bit ,i will have to clean it once every 3-4 months,instead of the recomended cleaning every 6months. Greatest automatic litter scooper since litter itself.  We've owned this product for about six mos now.  Scoops, cleans and dries the litter and flushes the mess down the toilet.  Does everything the manufacturer claims !  Takes 34 mins to cycle and really does liquify the waste. — Costs around $300 and well worth the investment.  My only complaint (s)  are the supplies get a bit pricey and the drain hose does clog occaisionaly.  I can live with that.  Much better than hauling large bags of litter and the horrible odor, especially for the guest… read full review »

Cat Genie is the best system as its the only really self-cleaning and self-sanitizing litter box. Others scoop/sift but don't clean the box (fur, general sanitation) and require you to clean out a gross bin. Cat Genie is always clean and a hands off solution.
