I kept hearing all the craze about the Bumbo Baby Seat but hadn't come across one yet and loved the idea of a seat that lets baby sit up all by herself.  After getting my hands on one, I have to say that I am a fan.  It reminds me of a booster seat for toddlers but is more defined so baby can sit erect without falling over.  I love the tray that comes with...

I am one of many moms who does not believe this product should have been recalled.  The product and packaging clearly state that child must never be left on an elevated surface or unattended.  The recall was based on children falling off of counters or tabletops while in the Bumbo.  No product is safe under these conditions.

We started using the Bumbo seat for our daughter when she was about 4 months old.  She was very alert and interested in the things going on around her and hated to be in a position where she couldn't see the whole room.  With the Bumbo, she was able to sit uprite and watch anything we were doing and play with the toys we gave her.  Because it is small and portable, we could take it with us when we traveled so that she could always sit up.

When we started feeding her baby cereal, we used the Bumbo instead of a high chair because she was so little.  Even reclined in a high chair she slumped...

The Bumbo is a life saver!  I love this seat and my son has used it from the time he was 6 months old.  He is now 14 months old and still sits in this chair to eat his snack.  The seat is a bit pricey and the color choices are a bit odd, but I believe that it is one of the best purchases I made.  The seat is very comfortable for my son and seems to be very sturdy.  It definitely comes in handy when you are travelling as well.

We loved the Bumbo! My daughter is very aware of her surroundings, and in the begining wanted to be a part of everything. The Bumbo was great because she was able to sit up "on her own" in the Bumbo. This is not a seat for infants who are able to sit on there own, but a seat for those on their way! This is now my favorite gift to give the expecting Mom.

We bought this for my son and were VERY pleased with our purchase.  It was a great porable high chair, we even brought it to resturants and placed him on the table with us (in a booth with him on the inside) so he didn't have to sit in his carseat the whole time.  We used it quite often.  Then our daughter came along and she had terrible reflux problems and she couldn't sit in the Bumbo because the pressure the part between her legs put on her belly made her spit up constantly.  So we didn't get much use out of it with her, but my son still sits in it sometimes to watch TV just because he thinks...

My daughter was born three months early and as such had a myriad of health problems.  One of those problems was reflux.  She had to be fed while sitting upright as opposed to most infants who would recline while eating.  Plus, she had to remain upright for at least 30 minutes after finishing her bottle.

As soon as she was able to hold her head up by herself, we started using the Bumbo.  Not only did she love it but it made meal times easier for us.  Even if I still held her occasionally while feeding her, she would easily transition to the Bumbo after her bottle while I was able to rinse...
