Comments about Black & Decker 3/8 inch Corded Variable Speed Reversible Hammer Drill:
Since we picked up the Black & Decker corded drill in 2007 we have managed to find dozens of home projects that the drill worked perfectly for. From installing shelves to installing child-safety locks, this drill has done the job with no problems.
This drill comes with an attractive carrying case that makes it easy to store and makes it easy to keep the drill bits in one place. The case is heavy-duty so I am not worried about it snagging and falling apart. It can be kept easily in a storage room or in a tool box, which makes it versatile.
I think this drill would be better if it was cordless, because it would be easier to do outside projects as well as inside projects, but since it is corded I have to work with that. A cordless drill would be more expensive, and I would have to keep up with the charger and all the parts so it is pretty well a trade-off.
I look forward to doing more projects with my Black & Decker corded drill; it has held up well the last three years and I am sure it will hold up for at least 3 more.
