I picked up this credit card when they were having an offer over a year ago for 0% interest on balance transfers/provided checks for a little over a year to help with some unexpected costs. I have managed to pay each of these corresponding due dates off in time, so didn't get hit with any interest penalties and can't be the judge of how bad that is (although from what I can remember last time I glanced, my interest rates weren't too bad). I will say that I've had little to no difficulties with this card, and every time I work to pay off one of my balance transfers due, and keep my balance down to a reasonable amount, Bank of America provides a steady series of promotional offers of the same 0% interest on balance transfers/provided checks for appx. a year. I'm a big fan of this as it helps with the unexpected costs. They do also have a reward system that links up with the credit card and comes in the form of cash back in your bank account or credit statement (if there are other options, I don't remember and haven't used them) and give additional discounts if you use this card at certain places they promote. But these also can take awhile to accumulate. It's a good card I'd recommend someone use to help get them out of a tight, unexpected financial difficulty.
