I have no idea what they are made out of or how or who came up with the idea but these things are seriously awesome. Clean the cut or burn to sanitize. Cover with one of these babies. This product takes bandages to a new level! I had one of those finger-cuts that are usually impossible to bandage. Most bandages would pop off, curl up, leak, snag on things, get soggy, etc. This bandage has an entirely new look & feel. It actually shapes itself to your skin and bonds seamlessly. I could flex my fingers normally and actually forget about the wound for DAYS. I tried to tell my friends about it & they rolled their eyes. This product is more expensive, but really worth it since a single one will last so long. Awesome!

As a mom and nurse, I know all the stuff about how to get the kids cuts to heal and not get infected.  And yes, I have my supply of old fashioned band-aids for those little owie's the girls get.  But for those major things the boys do with their bike crashes, and all other things imaginable Band-Aid Advance Healing Gel Strips are the only thing left in my first aid kit to cover the serious accidents.  These are amazing they seal to the skin, making a great barrier from bateria getting into the would.  They stay on even through showering.  But the biggest plus in my book - they help wounds heal faster.  I was sould on these after my oldest son had a nasty spill on his bike.  After cleaning up his wound and trying regular band aids and gauze.  I made a quick trip to the drugstore and found these.  They were rather pricey - but I decided to give them a try.  And I am so glad I did.  They worked great - stayed on - even in bendable places.

My partner is a medical professional. As such, our hone first aid kit is ridiculously well stocked. A few days ago, when I got a nasty steam burn, I did what I was supposed to do: run cold water over the wound for ten minutes, make sure the burn was clean and free of bacteria, yadda yadda. I was left with a pretty nasty and painful burn, and I knew the thing to do was cover it, to keep air from irritating it. When I looked for regular, old bandages, I was frustrated by the fancy stuff in our first aid kit. Lots of gauze and triangular bandages and other stuff, but no run-of-the-mill Band Aids. The closest thing I found was a box of Band-Aid brand Advanced Healing Gel Strips. Remember the Band-Aids your mom put on your cuts when you were a kid? Full of little air holes, they often got ripped up, and full of dirt, and the minue you washed your hands or took a shower, you'd have to change them, because the water soaked in and stayed in and invited all sorts of bacteria to collect around your wound. Kind of pointless. The days of those bandages is over. Advanced Healing Gel Strips are made of some sort of vinyl/gel/elastic. They completely cover a wound, locking out air and water. They don't get ripped up or attract every piece of dirt you run into. o air holes mean no germs getting into your cut or wound. And no water! You can actually keep one bandage on for several days, without fussing with it. Because the strips are basically clear, there's not that unsightly band Aid look that makes people look sort of silly. They're slim and fit basically flush on the skin. In fact, these things are like wearing a little extra layer of skin. My burn healed in record time, with no water or air getting to it. I love these things! They're expensive, but one must consider the fact that they don't need constant changing, the way cheaper bandages do. They're designed to stay on for several days - through hand washing and showers, etc.

I LOVE these bandages.  I work in the medical profession and am always using hand sanitzers and sprays and these babies do NOT come off.  They protect the area and are absolutely wonderul.  They dont fall off.  They dont rub.  It creates a nice cousion for paper cuts, etc.  These are a staple in my desk.

Band Aid Advanced Healing Gel Strips are amazing. They can be used for all sorts of cuts and scrapes.  One of my favorite things to use them for is blisters, or as I like to call them Rips.  Being a gymnast I got a lot of blisters that would eventually rip and any time that this happens I just put on a Band Aid Gel Strip.  They really help the healing process to spead up and they also help to sooth my hands.  They can be a little pricey, but think that it is really worth it.  They do a good job at keeping out dirt and moisture.  In a way they sort of lock your cut in a pocket of protection that has medicines that really help with the healing process.

Like most people, I'm always more likely to pick up a box of Band-Aid bandages than any other brand. When I came across these Advanced Healing bandages, I was intrigued. The worst part about injuries is the length of time you have to cover them up for, and I'm all for healing faster. I originally tested these bandages out on a particularly harsh blister on my foot. When I first put the bandage on, I expected a sting of some sort to let me know there's truly medication in there. However, I felt nothing - both a good and bad sign. If Band-Aid truly has managed to get rid of the stinging feeling of medicated bandages, great! I'm just not so sure there's any special medication in the bandage itself. Yet these bandages are still unique - they're pretty long-lasting, and they stayed on my feet for a few days. They even managed to survive one shower, which I thought was a good bonus for a bandage that doesn't advertise being waterproof. Overall, I can't tell if my injury healed any faster because of these bandages. However, they're quality bandages that I would buy again - I just wish they were truly outstanding in the results.

These new bandaids with the gel healing surface have become a lifesaver for me in helping to gently heal blisters that I always seem to acquire from new shoes!  These bandaids seem to be much more resistant to water, sweat, or other disturbances that might cause them to fall off or come out of place in places where bandaids typically do not stay well, such as the back of the foot.  The gel is placed in the middle of the bandaid, and I have really found that it does improve healing times, whether it be because of the medication in the gel or just because a covering is secure over the wound.  I am a big advocate of quick healing for little scrapes because the rate of infections is high in open wounds, and getting it quickly healed can make all of the difference!  The product is a little more expensive than regular bandaids, but these are great for any size wound as they come in multiple sizes, and are definitely going to be a healthier alternative that will keep bacteria and infection away!

I use these all the time and they really decrease healing time and also keep scaring to a minimum.  Band-aid advanced healing stripes are a must have for people who always seem to be getting those little cuts.  Great for purses and first aid kits.  As an EMT and professional in the medical field, I think these are well worth the money to avoid unsightly scars and get you back to clear and smooth skin. I personally use these the most for minor cuts and cat scratches.  Anyone who has cats knows that cat scratches are more likely to scare than most cuts due to the enzymes on the cat's claws.  These bandages have kept my hands scar-free since i started using them.

When we were vacationing in FL one year, my daughter, who runs EVERYWHERE, tripped on her towel as we were returning from the pool.  She had one of the worst skinned knees I had ever seen.  I had a few of the Band-aid Advanced healing band-aids in my purse left over from a burn I suffered on my neck.  I put that on her and didn't see a tear or here a cry for the next few days while it was 'healing'-of course the tears flowed before I put it on while I was cleaning her wound!  Best thing too, you can't even see it while it's on.  When it was time to take it off, the wound had healed enough not to 'seep' or bleed!  Perfect!
