My friend has this type of PC. The Acer Aspire AM5100 is a decent PC for the money. It has a decent onboard video card and has PCI express slots for further video upgrade. Has a good AMD processor. I don't care for the motherboard in this computer as it is cheaply made. It is an Acer F690GVM. They don't even bother to offer manuals for MBs on Acer. They do offer the PC manual for it which tells you just the basics. I know this because he needed to know the max amount of RAM it would hold. We had to do some research! It will hold a max of 8GB RAM and does seem to be a pretty nice setup. This particular one came with Vista home premium and runs it well. Fairly easy to upgrade hardware wise. My friend absolutely loves it. He paid around 500 for it when it was new. So if you are looking for a decent computer for a fairly good price then check this model out. You won't be disappointed and you can't beat it for the price.
