I have tried all kinds of shampoos for my dog, and this is the ONLY ONE, that doesn't leave him smelling like a wet dog! There is only the smell of cuccumber and ripe melon! I love this stuff and wish I could bet it at the pets stores!

Our dog has allergies. Scratch, scratch, scratch, and scratch some more. We're trying to find the cause of the allergies and are looking at varies things like changing the diet and changing the dog's collar, but the vet suggested that I also try some shampoo that might help relieve her itching. He highly recommended **ANM Pharm Aloe and Oatmeal dog shampoo**. This shampoo smells absolutely wonderful. If it weren't for dogs, I would use it on my own hair. It smells better than any shampoo I have ever used. I tried this several times on our dog. It makes her hair look pretty nice, although I don't think she would ever look like a show dog. She's part poodle, part terrier, and part many other dog breeds, I'm sure, and she just has bad hair days every day. The shampoo lathers well and tends to rinse clean. It did not particularly help the itching, but I don't think it made her itching worse. There was one big problem with this shampoo though. My kids have a gluten sensitivity. I was a little apprehensive about using anything with oatmeal in it because I'd be washing the dog in our bathtub, but the vet assured me that it shouldn't affect my kids. I scrub the tub with a bleach cleaner after giving the dog a bath, but my children all developed eczema after I started using this shampoo. Needless to say, I no longer use this dog shampoo. **My Viewpoint:** I wish we had had a better experience with **ANM Pharm Aloe and Oatmeal dog shampoo**. This shampoo was pretty expensive (more than any of my shampoos) and didn't seem to completely relieve our dog's itching, and then I ended up with three itching daughters on top of it. It does smell great though, and I think people who don't have gluten sensitivity issues might really like this one if they have a dog with skin allergies. I'm listing that I would recommend this shampoo but only to a household that doesn't have gluten sensitivies or celiac disease.
