I've owned this rice cooker for 1.5 years now and it is one of my favorite pieces of kitchen equipment. It cooks rice perfectly and keeps it warm for hours without drying it out. The cooker comes with a steam basket that fits nicely into the top and can be used for steaming vegetables, dumplings, or anything else that can fit into the basket. This means the cooker can actually be used to prepare an entire meal which is perfect in hot summer months. The rice cooker is sizable so it will take up some counter or cabinet space, however this size is useful because it allows for a greater diversity of dishes to be made in the cooker. (And yes, there are many things that can be made in a rice cooker besides rice, like GIANT PANCAKES). The cooker is very easy to clean because the pot which contains the rice and water can be removed and most parts can be screwed off and detached. I'm a clumsy person so I can testify to the durability of this cooker as well. Th only thing that would be needed to make it perfect is a few additional functions, like temperature setting since it only has a "cook" and "keep warm" setting.
