As an Asian, most of us only purchase Zojirushi rice cooker whether its fancy or tech savvy. We actually purchased two of this model in case if it's ever discontinued we would have a spare for another 15 years. It's costly but it lasts long and we dont cook our rice any other way. Happy to own a few.

Rice is my absolute favorite food ever, so when I received the Zojirushi ten cup rice cooker for my birthday a few years ago, I was ecstatic! I use it practically every single day! It is very durable and will last you years. It may just be the only rice cooker you will ever need! The controls are very basic and easy to operate. Maintenance is easy, it is very easy to clean. Out of all my kitchen appliances, and I have a lot, I would have to say my Zojirushi Rice Cooker is my all time favorite. It holds ten cups so you can cook enough rice for a large family in it. It is great if you put rice in casseroles too, you can cook your rice in this while you are doing other things. You do not have to worry about the rice sticking to the bottom of the cooker. Not to mention, the rice is just great! It tastes just like Peking's! You can make virtually any kind of rice in it. It is great for large quantities and for beginner cooks as well!

This rice cooker has been in my family for MANY, MANY years. We've probably had it since I was a child (maybe even before I was born) and now that I'm an adult I use it all the time. I have never had any problems with it, and I have never had to replace it. I prefer using a rice cooker over making rice on the stove because the rice cooker is safer. It tells you when the rice is finished cooking and keeps it warm while you are waiting for the rest of your dinner to be done. I also like it because you can make larger amounts of rice without it being a pain. You can make any kind of rice in this rice cooker, and it comes out tasting delicious and perfect every time. The rice never gets stuck and burnt to the rice cooker which is also great as well. I think this rice cooker will last me for the rest of my life if I'm lucky. I would definitely recommend picking up this rice cooker. It will last forever and it makes cooking rice very easy. Performance It makes perfect rice every time, and I never have to worry about my rice getting cold. It's amazing, and If anything every happened to it I would definitely buy another one. Ease of Cleaning I like using this rice cooker because its so simple to clean. You just take the insert out and wash it clean. I never have any problems with rice sticking to the rice cooker or getting burnt so I really just rinse it clean with some soap and a sponge. It literally only takes a minute. Ease of Use It's so easy to use. You just add the preferred amount of rice you want, water, close the top, and that's it. It'll tell you when it's done. When the rice is done it will just sit in the rice cooker, and keep itself warm until you are ready to eat. Durability It has to be pretty durable since it's been in my family for about 24 years. It's never broke, and we've never had any problems with it. It still looks brand new like the day we bought it. Design It's a very simple rice cooker. I'm not a huge fan of the design. I'd rather it would have been all completely white or even black without the flowers but it's not a huge deal. I keep it under the counter when I'm not using it so the design doesn't really matter much to me.

It is a bit large, so be careful not to drop it while using detergent to scrub it clean. Rinse it with water.

I've had this rice cooker since I was a little kid, and I've replaced it once to buy a new one. I can't think of any other rice cooker that could have such great durability, as well as a sleek and sophisticated design With just one batch, I'm able to feed my 4-person family for the whole day, and we all have rice- around 2 bowls each! The ZOjirushi-NS-RNC-18-10 Cup Rice Cooker cooks the rice very well, and it always end up perfect. It's super easy to learn how to cook the rice and it's perfect for any kind of rice. I've cooked both brown and white rice, and they both turn out great! Cleaning can be a hassle sometimes depending on the rice, but otherwise, I have no complaints! The price is a bit expensive than some other rice cookers on the market, but the Zojirushi lasts long, does its job to perfection, and is my choice for the rest of my life. I can't imagine looking anywhere else. The 10 Cups lets you know how big of a batch it can handle, and all I can say to sum it up is the Zojirushi has made my life so much easier with rice cooking. I can easily feed my family with little hassle, and I know I can trust Zojirushi to be there when I need it.

My Zojirushi NS-RNC-18 10-cut rice cooker makes perfect rice every time! It is fool-proof! I have had this rice cooker for several years. It makes from 1 cup to 10 cups perfectly, and keeps the rice warm and fresh for up to about 24 hours. I bought this rice cooker to replace my first Zojirushi cooker that I used for about 8 to 10 years. We cook rice about 5 nights per week, so we really do put these rice cookers to the test! And they have really held up! Performance If the correct amount of water is used, the Zojirushi cannot fail! All I do is measure the correct amounts of rice and water, then push the button. My mother always taught us to "wash" the rice before cooking. I think that is from the "old days" when rice was covered with talc. But that is not necessary anymore. Ease of Cleaning Typically, all I have to do is rinse out the pot with a little soap and a sponge. I toss everything in the dishwasher every once in a while. Couldn't be easier. Ease of Use Rice, water, button... Durability My first Zojirushi lasted about 10 years. My current one is about 3 or 4 years old. And my rice cookers get a LOT Of use!! Design I like the looks of it. I like that the lid is on a hinge rather than removable.

Whenever I cook, I cook for a huge audience and so I needed a rice cooker that can handle a lot of cups of rice. This machine does this job perfectly. The rice is never undercooked or overcooked. Also, even when I cook about 10 cups of rice, it does not take very long and the rice is ready in no time. The color is neutral and modern-looking and so blends in easily with any kitchen . My favorite part is the minimal sticking of the rice to the bottom which is such a hassle to clean. This never happens with this rice cooker.

I needed a new rice cooker so I bought the Zojirushi NS-RNC-18 10-Cup Rice Cooker about a few weeks ago. This rice cooker has such a pretty and simple design on the front (a flower). This rice cooker cooks a lot of rice, (up to 10 cups) so you don't have to cook it separate times if you have a lot of people coming over. The Zojirushi Rice Cooker cooks the rice perfectly. Being of Asian descent, rice is pretty much a must in our house. As a result, this rice cooker is the perfect recipe for fantastic rice. It is also easy to handle and understand. The rice cooker is also simple to clean. Although I didn't have the Zojirushi Rice Cooker for a very long time, I still think that it will be durable and will last me a very long time. As a result, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Zojirushi 10-Cup Rice Cooker because it does the job well and efficiently. Excellent rice cooker product!! :D

Overall this product is great. Who doesn't want an easy way to make rice without having to worry about it?? I know my family eats rice all this time and this product really makes cooking it a lot easier. Performance Overall this product does exactly what it is supposed to do. It cooks rice. I have never had any issues with its performance. The rice turns out great everytime. Ease of Cleaning This product is not the easiest to clean but then again rice cookers in general are not that easy to clean. Really no complaints here. Ease of Use This product is so easy to use and really makes cooking rice so much easier and less stressful. Rice comes out great everytime. Durability I have had my rice cooker for a few years now and I have never had a durability problem with it so far. I would recommend this product to anyone. Design Not the prettiest design but It is practical and it works great. Overall I love my rice cooker and do not know what I would do without it!

This is one of the best rice cookers on the market. It is the highest quality and large enough to cook for a large crowd, 2 people or a large family. It easily cooks with the push of a button and then holds for hours, keeping the rice moist and hot. It is fast and makes perfect rice every time. White rice, Black rice, brown rice, sticky rice, sweet rice....you name it, it makes it. The cook and hold option is fantastic, you turn it on and walk away with no worries. Performance Easy to use, measure, close, one button push cook and it is done in a reasonable amount of time, perfectly. I like that you can get other things done and not worry about burning your rice or make the rice hours in advance and go to the kids soccer game. Ease of Cleaning It cleans very easily. The inside rice pan comes out and it is teflon lined, be sure to use a plastic rice spoon to serve and it will last years. the top lid comes out easily for cleaning and the catch piece on the back of the lid easily comes off for cleaning. Ease of Use How much easier can it be, You measure your rice and water then close the lid and push the cook button, when the button clicks over to warm and the warm light comes on, the rice is done and can sit for hours until you want to eat. Durability This is my second Zojirushi in 2 decades. I use my rice cooker almost daily and I amazed at how long the first one (I bought second hand) lasted. I did not have an instruction booklet and would submerge the lid/top completely in water, it eventually ruined the inside wiring and insulation, it was completely my fault and I am sure it would have lasted years longer had I not ruined it. My new (8 years old) Zojirushi still runs like a champ and I expect to get many more years from it. Design This is a simple rice cooker, easy to use, one button to push, the design is simple also, One big removable inner basket with a lid for easy cleanup. It can make 2 cups or 10 cups and it all comes out just as good for any amount each time.
